Final Class of 2014 Q & A

Who is the worst recruiter on our staff?

Do you think Al will learn to adjust to the politics involved with recruiting Miami kids?

Did the PSU debacle damage AG's credibility with local HS coaches?

Do you expect AG to go after graduated transfers again?

Which position will be most affected by incoming freshman next season?

I don't believe Gibson or McFadden will be canes, but other than them who will be the "Must Get" 2015 recruit? Who will be the Duke Johnson/Chad Thomas in 2015?

How confident are you in the 4 DTs we brought in, (Wyche, Huertelou, Moten, and Jenkins) can flourish in the 3-4 scheme?

What is your overall opinion on this staff as far as recruiting/ coaching? And any particular reason Ice turned down an offer?

2 part questions

1. was Powell finally able to provide some sort of edible substance for his family? and

2. could the staff avoided all this with a couple of foot longs from the local subway?

Another reason Pete is head and shoulders above the rest of the comp. That would have driven a ton of traffic to the site, but yes would have started a riot and ultimately been pretty counter-productive. Just like the verse says, "Everything is permissible, but not everything is profitable".

This is a good class Pete, but like you said we need a great class to be a powerhouse.. what recruits in 2015 in your opinion will make that one a great class??

The Yearby news is like missing a flight you were supposed to be on and then finding out it crashed.

I'm shaken up.

I'm rustled

Same.

It's not just the fact we would have whiffed on Cook, Michel, Powell and Yearby, but would have lost the latter two to a 4-8 UF team and a 2-10 USF team, respectively.

Holy ****. I would have completely given up at that point.

Thank God for James Coley.

This class would have completely unraveled without him.

Does the SEC or for that matter other programs really have players get cash from boosters etc? Serious question! Just wondering how much truth there is to this???

I've seen the dealings of the $EC firsthand. And it doesn't always come in the form of cash payments. Vehicles, job opportunities for family members, and property are some other examples. These boosters didn't get rich by being stupid with money. These guys know how to play the game and make everything look legit. And they don't snitch on each other at the first sign of trouble. One school can't rat out another school in the $EC, because they are all guilty. Not to mention the NCAA would turn a blind eye to any situation that involves an $EC team. Don't forget about the 3rd party infiltrators that are on the take.

The NCAA painted a target on our back a long time ago. We would never be able to come back from the penalties that would be levied against us, if we ever got caught using these tactics. You can be naive about it all you want, but this is what our staff is up against.

1. Ridley is a cane lock

Now for the questions

1. How old are you pete?
2. How does coach feel and the staff feel now that the looming sanctions are over
