Well, Saban, and the behind-the-scenes activity of their booster network. Though maybe the new compensation rules will allow us to even that part of the playing field a bit.

When will you get it through your head that we’re not asking to hire Nick Saban! But we don’t have to make the same mistake twice by hiring another DC with no head coaching experience from a failed regime. That’s all we’re asking the “big brain” academia’s in charge at Suntan U to do, and I don’t think that’s to much to ask that “supposedly” some of the smartest people in the world not make the same mistakes over again and actually learn from them since correct if I’m wrong but aren’t they in the ******* LEARNING business for gods sake?! Smh there was way better options out their then Manure if they would have taken a little more then 4 ******* hours for Flake James to decide to hire his fishing buddy. Suntan U is rotted to the core and won’t change till we get serious and hire another Sam jankovich who’ll hire another Howard. Till then, amateur hour it is at Suntan U.

We aren't playing on the same field with Bama. They are light years ahead of us on the field and their bag game is strong for any recruit that may require extra incentive to sign.

You are right. Florida hired Urban and they won 2 ships. FSU won a ship with Jimbo, who's not Urban but was nonetheless a homerun hire at the time, even if he was a coordinator.

Meanwhile, we hired Elmer the Fudd, Onion/Radio, a used car salesman, a has been who never was, and the lispy boy wonder. The results speak for themselves.

When Manny inevitably fails in 2-3 years--and God I hope he proves me wrong--we need to go after a proven, up and coming head coach, from a decent P5 program, like we did with Jimmy and Dennis. GO CANES!!

Amen brother but it’ll be at the end of next year he’s shown the door because we’re in store for another manure season 1 in season 3 and that even for the numbnutz running Suntan U is even unacceptable. After we’re blown out in our bowl game because the kids won’t want to be there and manure has already lost them for the second year mind you it’ll be a mass exodus like every year. King, Phillips, Cam, Roche, bolden and Jordan will all be scurrying out of here like rats trying to get off a sinking ship. So next year another “young” team in the never end cycle of young Miami teams smh that’ll get Drawn and Quartered by bama, our schemed/played by Mack & Howell In NC, who even knows what’s gonna happen in Tallahassee, bulldozed by MSU in Lansing similar to our wisky games, UVA and bronco when it’s nice and cold in Virginia, Kenny “heisman” Pickett most likely last game of the year in freezing Pittsburgh, and who even knows who are other cross over game will be. That’s anywhere from 5 to 6 losses right there and we all know how this team reacts to getting destroyed on national TV which equals them quitting and manny losing his team AGAIN! Hopefully blake James goes with him to the unemployment line.

This sport is a total business now, as you can see from the rankings, and Alabama is way way ALL IN.....from coach, to admin, to facilities, to boosters. There are about 4-5 teams with a chance now and the rest need to hit on a coach and in a season every once in a while. We are in the later. sucks.

What evals though? They are really after all the 5 stars.

A guy on this board whom i think either son plays for vero or is a fan of vero can give you the eval on Koht and did so about a week ago. It wasnt all that flattering either.

He's the type of end i like..but i also seen him get hemmed up or not look as good in one on ones this spring so...but im sure he can be develop there or flame out within 2 years. Who's the last beastly edge theyve had at Bama?.

Where is Koht a 3 star? 247 is high on him he's a Top 100 kid. Rivals is a joke. He's a 4 star on the composite too.
 
1 kid we had a shot at and you cry. this year and this recruiting class is not the year to blame coaches.

Bout to flip one of the top WR’s in the country from LSU. Their recruiting is literally fckin insane, just cherry-picking who the fck they want.
 
Can't hate on kids goin there when we've had Enos, Patke, Baker, Rumph etc. here corching it up. Most SoFL kids want to be with a winning program who can get them to the next level. That's why they transfer high schools often. 'Business' decisions.

If you visit Tuscaloosa, or, even more, drive around the area surrounding Tuscaloosa, you'd understand how much their bag game and their 'system' of taking care of guys plays into their success.

Saban is best remembered as an NFL washout who lied about leaving the Dolphins without the Red Elephants & Bama's $.

It's a system that perpetuates now, and is protected, not only by the $EC, who won't let their member insistutions rat out each other anymore, but by ABC/Disney/ESPN who wants the protect the $EC's status as top dog conference to protect their investment.

Everyone says rivals is a joke but i’ve never seen any analysis of why it’s objectively worse than the others. it’s a convenient reference, which is why I use it
