Fils-Aime "commits" to Tennessee.

Wow we are not recruiting him hard. that is crazy. did not know Byrd lived with him which is even crazier that we are not recruiting him hard. I respect the kid though. he wanted to pull the trigger but taking his time. thats how it should be if your not 100% sure.

We are fils aime is just taking his time, got to watch for a Stanford offer here. He likes them a lot as well.

RB Carlin Fils-Aime considered #Miami commitment (VIP) http://miami.247sports.com/Article/RB-Carlin-Fils-Aime-Considered-Miami-Commitment-36674529 … via @InsideTheU

Summary please?

- Talks to coach Scott, Scott tells him how much they want him etc.
- All Byrd tells Carlin to do is go to UM says he recruits him every day.
- On UM commitment; "I’ve thought about it a couple of times. I want to but then again, I also want to wait until I see if another school might catch my attention. I shouldn’t commit anywhere unless I’m sure of it.”
- Will visit more schools.

If we miss out on this kid due to lack of effort recruiting him or not making it clear that he is a priority than I don't know what to say about this incompetent staff...

Kid is by far the best RB we are recruiting this cycle

What on earth makes you think we aren't recruiting him hard?

He basically says it in he interview...

So telling the kid how much they want him isnt recruiting hard?

We have a different interpretation. The kid is very bright, and has let everyone know he wants to get out and see things before making a choice. We're in contact with him constantly. Not sure what else people want done. This one is going to take time. He wants to make one decision only. Not the kind of kid looking save a place in a class while still trying to find something better.

I actually respect this kid for doing what he is doing, that is how every recruit should handle their recruitment like him

This! I wish all the kids would wait until they were sure to pull the trigger. I realize that things can change (coaches, personal situation, etc.), but I really think it would make the process a whole lot more enjoyable for all parties.

Fils-Aime and Rasul would be that Homerun threat that everyone wants at the position. Their straight line speed is SCARY.

I think Yearby and Walton are studs too but they are different type of backs.

named his top 5 today on 247.

UNC, Tenn, UGA, Aub, Miami.

says we lead. "They were my first offer. Their coaches remind me of mine. Funny guys. Since (Hurricanes cornerback commit Tyler) Byrd is going there and we live together basically. He's like a brother to me. That has a big advantage over every other school. Miami has a great facility. I've went there a lot and a lot. Every time I go there I fall in love more and more."
