Seems like Lashlee was in a dammed if I do dammed if I don't moment with Amanda Diaz. I don't know, no insider, but could that have been the case why Lashlee didn't say no he's too hurt don't put him back in?

If D'Eriq wasn't the kind of person that he is - competive, driven and someone who genuinely cares about the team - he wouldn't have gone back out on the field. I'm sure there are QBs who would have been done. It sucks they took advantage of that.

Mannys ball squad came at me when I insinuated he shouldn’t have went back out there against Msu and they put him at risk. They knew how much that game mattered.

That's what makes the situation even more frustrating, a competent administration right now would take advantage of the situation they're in to the point that no athlete would ever have a reason to want to go to FSU for the next 10 years, but we're showing to be just as incompetent as they are.

Oh, I see what you mean. It was a "big deal" because it was kind of like the beginning of a culture change where a leader would actually come back vs leaving early declaring for the NFL draft when they obviously weren't ready, which seems to have plauged UM for a while. Seemed more like a Clemson-esque move at the time. Just sad how everything has turned out so far.

I still have high hopes for the youngins on the squad. Maybe they can get a real coach during their time and do something. We can only hope.

I gotta see A LOT more from TVD to be convinced. What i have seen so far leaves me with significant doubts. I would love to be wrong. Absolutely love to be wrong. We have seen guys flash before. You make it to this level, i would imagine you are good enough to flash, but the test is consistency.

Understood but basically he’s a freshman playing his 2nd game coming up.

He doesn’t have the Bama talent around him to help him.

Best thing we can do is be patient with all of the QBs.

If he followed in the footsteps of people before him, he could've declared. Whether or not he is undrafted is another story.

In that first presser after MSU game, Lashlee was directly asked about D'Eriq going back on the field - I don't remember who asked the question , but it was asked. He said that it wasn't his call. That the medical staff cleared him and D'Eriq was ready to go back to play.

I remember that distinctly. He got uncomfortable and answered quickly as if to hurry and move on to the next question.

Things are bad but Manny has brought in two top 15 classes. Not defending his dumb *** by any means. But Willie didn’t recruit a single skill player for two cycles. No QBs either. The cupboard isn’t stocked here but FSU was barren.
