Fight broke out during Canes practice.

This is the most depressing thread I've ever read on here.......... EVER.......ON CIS!!!!!!

I've never heard of such a complete and utter ****show. Tons of players just skipping practice? Coaches not giving a ****?

I'm betting the house on UNC

Yeah this tihs is sickening. I really felt for those jits during the gorlden years but this seems worst. All that wasted talent, they ruined a lot those kids careers. @nycane post feels like a kick in the nuts. I will curse UM forever if they don't get these MF'S outta here. Completely depressing, never felt this bad about the program. ****.

What do you mean? Maybe he had personal goals? He may have thought there was a chance to win the ACC? (this year would have been an easy run for it, it appears) Do you also think he signs NIL deals as someone who graduated and moved on?
I was saying that there seems to be this big thing like King did something noble by coming back for one more year. If he wanted to play football again , what was his other choice ? He isn’t going to the league as a QB (and should have known that last season ) and no he certainly does not sign NIL deals , I can’t even believe he got what he got. Good for him

Let’s see what the depth chart will look like against UNC

If the same ******** are starting then Manny has to tested for mental retardation

No wonder Greg didn’t want to risk his career playing another down
If you are relying on a depth chart for validation one way or another, there may need to be additional testing of additional individuals. Last week King was still QB1 and didn't even dress. OL had starters in positions they did not even play. The depth chart on paper does not matter. What does matter is simply canning Manny to create some buzz about a new hire and just let the kids finish out the season.

Oh, I see what you mean. It was a "big deal" because it was kind of like the beginning of a culture change where a leader would actually come back vs leaving early declaring for the NFL draft when they obviously weren't ready, which seems to have plauged UM for a while. Seemed more like a Clemson-esque move at the time. Just sad how everything has turned out so far.

I still have high hopes for the youngins on the squad. Maybe they can get a real coach during their time and do something. We can only hope.

In that first presser after MSU game, Lashlee was directly asked about D'Eriq going back on the field - I don't remember who asked the question , but it was asked. He said that it wasn't his call. That the medical staff cleared him and D'Eriq was ready to go back to play.
You’re like the only person to catch that. He didn’t exactly fight the decision tho. But he made sure to point out manny was the guy who put him out there.

So did King want to play or not? Sounds like some are saying he was forced and others saying he pushed himself to stay on the field. King is a fighter and didn’t bust his *** in rehab to sit on the sideline with an injury HE felt he could play through.

Valid point

Why does it matter? Of course the ultimate competitor wants to play. After the injuries he had that were not unknown to the staff they kept sending him out there because he gave them the best chance to win, that is pure negligence and they took advantage of him

Seems like Lashlee was in a dammed if I do dammed if I don't moment with Amanda Diaz. I don't know, no insider, but could that have been the case why Lashlee didn't say no he's too hurt don't put him back in?

I was taken aback by it - he was so quick to respond it made me think there was more to it. Like everyone pointing fingers....

If D'Eriq wasn't the kind of person that he is - competive, driven and someone who genuinely cares about the team - he wouldn't have gone back out on the field. I'm sure there are QBs who would have been done. It sucks they took advantage of that.
