Fight broke out during Canes practice.

Worth a watch.

- Discussion that "something went down" with Manny on Saturday. Translated: he may have been told it was over.
-Something "went down" on Sunday and he is still there, giving radio interviews on Monday.

The expectation was the school was making a statement on Tuesday..... so far, nothing...

I didn't see them but supposedly there were comments on Twitter that Manny Sr. got involved..... Maybe pushing for favors???

So what actually happens this week?
This cannot be true. Please tell me this is not true.

The information in this thread breaks my heart. I'm trying to make sense of the last 10 months.

So D'Eriq said let's run it back, and some others followed suit. We lost about a half-dozen guys to the portal, but each one was understandable and not terribly painful. A lot of guys stayed whom many expected to go. Rambo, Stevenson, and D. Johnson transferred in.

We watched the spring game. The team looked good, and there seemed to be a really positive vibe. I remember a tweet from Harley like, "I'm really proud of this team." Manny was talking about greatness. There seemed to be something really good coming.

Then the season starts. I don't need to recap what has happened in the games, but my point is that, within 6 weeks, we went from 'everyone is all in on greatness' to an absolute, unmitigated cluster**** where players are gossiping like middle-school girls and jumping each other in practice. Manny needs to go into witness protection, and Blake needs to go with him. It is an all-but-literal dumpster fire.

I guess I'm wondering how it all went from so good to so bad, so fast. Or was it ever that good?

Seeing it in writing is tough. Everything you wrote is true. It’s crazy how it turned

It didn’t go from bad to good so fast. It’s always been bad. Everything on the field these last 2.5 seasons pointed to this.

100%. Losing games is what it is. Putting kids on the field with fractured bones is egregious and he should be fired instantly for that.

We probably won't ever know the full story. I know Southpark is close to him but I doubt we'll ever know exactly when it was slightly fractured and all that, and how much worse it got, and when. But if somehow it comes out that the kid had a fractured collarbone and they put him back out there, they should all be fired right now, for cause.
He hurt his knee against bama game #1... Back in. Against msu he ****ed his collarbone. Back in...

Buying into off season hype ended for me over a decade ago. Waiting and seeing on the field in real games is believing for me.

It’s time

I hear you. I was at the Bama game, I thought for sure he was ****ed after that first sack and he got bent and limped off. But of course he came back in. To me though, there's a big difference between playing hurt and playing injured. I *assumed*, of course I don't talk to the trainers, but I assumed against Bama they checked his knee out, determined there probably wasn't any structural damage, he was mobile enough to play, and he went back out there.

Against MSU, we all watched him fall hard on the right shoulder on the sideline. We know he went to the locker room. If, at that time, it was determined that he had fractured his collarbone and their path forward was to shoot him up and get him back on the field, that's a fireable offense for everyone involved. Sometimes you have to protect a player from himself. Again, assuming this is what really happened, if you have a fracture, and it's a small, hairline fracture, you can rest for a couple weeks and be OK. If it breaks cleanly, that's much longer. If they determined it was fractured and allowed him to go back in and risked falling on it again and being out months, they should all be fired.

Because the first three paragraphs were offseason Manny where you win with headlines. Then the next two paragraphs were in-season actually have to coach against qualified professional Manny.

So Manny sucks at his job and his dad calls to make sure he keeps his job. Meanwhile the team is unraveling by the second. Now the administration is stuck between doing what’s right for the kids or what Manny dad wants. IMO if Frenk had no involvement with the Manny hiring he should step in and fire Manny and let those who got favors from Manny Sr deal with whatever payback he wants to dish out. But I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them got their hands in on some favors from Sr.

I don't know if Diaz had the fight leaked on purpose or if Diaz actually said the pregnancy comment himself, but the fact that people believe he said those things tells you all you need to know and how bad all this has gotten.
