Jai Lucas just finished up his first year as head coach, where he led the Miami Hurricanes to the Round of 32 for the first time since 2022.

Rob Dauster, a podcaster for the Field of 68 College Basketball show, released his top five winners/losers of the spring transfer portal and named the Miami Hurricanes as a winner.

Let's see how the backup C plays out, but I am already wanting to claim on paper, the best Miami roster in it's program history. I don't even think theirs a challenger. On paper! I am to wise as a fan to make that a grand prediction on the season, though. I am truly happy for sports fans of this school right now, particularly young fans. I am old enough to have enjoyed this in football and baseball long ago, now basketball is pursuing that level of excellence. Football is back.
