Can anyone tell me whats his status with us ..... Are we really after him is a UM type player?

Too early to tell if Miami will recruit him. At this time last year, Mike Smith wasn't even on the radar. I need to see more of Silva. He's on the shorter side as a pass rusher which isn't something the Golden staff particularly likes.
 
Any update on Silva? Saw his recent pics from 7 on 7 - he looks like a beast. Don't know if we've offered or shown interest. (As a LB body type)

Why does this sound familiar? Liberty city kid, who is from a feeder school, who is a beast at pass rushing but is a little undersized..Hmmmmm..Pete, if this kid has freakishly long arms..Dare I drop the name Elvis Dumervil here?
