please god, do not switch to adidas.
PLEASE stay nike, or at the least, switch to UA

This thread is hilarious. Of all the problems plaguing this program right now, the uniform manufacturer is the least of my concerns. I'm pretty sure at least 3 of the top 10 schools in the current 2015 recruiting rankings are Adidas schools.
3 adidas 3 UA. in top 15. 1 ua and 1 adidas in top 10

ZERO in the playoff.
Have you guys not seen our unis the past 10-15 years? Besides the 2014 variety, they've been duds. Nike has been falling asleep at the wheel (look at what they did to FSU - they made them BC) and I'm sure getting a fresh take on our brand will be welcomed. Addidas has shown they can come out with some fly stuff (TAMU, Louisville, UCLA, etc.).
Which ranking outlet are you referencing? Per Rivals, I see the following Adidas schools in the top 10:This thread is hilarious. Regardless, the point is that other schools are doing just fine in recruiting despite the Adidas uniforms. It's laughable that some fans are getting so worked up over this.
Nike did not make anybody look like FAMU, they gave the team interchangeable jerseys, pants, and helmets. They did not force UM to wear any particular look, last i heard that was up to the team to choose what they wear on game days. All the traditional combos look awesome (green/white, orange/white, white/white) with the traditional helmets.
TAMU seems to be doing fine in recruiting.
This would affect bball recruiting more IMO
I am shocked at some of you that are making a big deal of this. anything that brings the program more money is a good thing in my book. and this is probably a non- issue to most recruits. plus adidas makes cooler superior quality gear than nike in my opinion.

who gave us the stupid helmets?
So many people saying "well if that $3 mill goes to buying out Golden's contract"
Guess what, with this administration who stands behind Golden will just spread that money around and I can almost guarantee you that it will not go to buying out Golden's contract.
You guys know this administration is just greedy and really could care less about being a competitive football program, so I fully expect that $3 mill to be spread around the entire university if not at least all of our sports programs.
This would not be $3 mill to the football program.
I could care less if my Canes t shirt is Addidas or Nike, but you know who cares if we wear nike cleats, gloves, uniforms, visors etc...?
Recruits, and they are the ones that matter.
