6-6 does more damage than some ******* logo on a shirt imo. cam went to a UA school. Jabril peppers went to an adidas school, teddy B- adidas, etc. if were winning, it wont matter what were wearing. this shouldnt be a 10 page thread. our biggest issue is coaching not clothing. as long as they have a nice design and dont mess w the U and the white helmet (like all u guys hated nike for doing), I'm okay w it and i like nike over everything else.

The conspiracy theorist in me feels like this was all done on purpose to distract us from the situation we have at hand which is Al and his band of merry men...
 
BTW, all you guys cracking wise about Adidas or British Knights bringing in Gold Helmets? I wouldn't be pushing your luck. Historically, there were times when the Canes wore the Golden Dome as our helmet.

don't know about tennessee, but notre dame signed the largest apparel deal in college sports history to go to under armour at about about $9 million/year.

Would take UA over adidas if that's what it's coming to. But Nike is the best hands down, guess it's time to start buying all the Nike UM gear I can. I won't be buying anything adidas.

adidas makes a few things very well: soccer cleats/equipment/uniforms and climacool polo shirts (admittedly, nike dri-fit polos are garbage and snag on everything). nike is better with just about everything else. i hope we stay with nike because i am almost certain not to buy any adidas stuff. their jersey designs are downright hideous.
 
Matt Porter reported that the switch to Adidas can and will indeed hurt w/ recruiting and merchandise sales. Michigan experience the same thing after their switch. He also stated that the tweet that went out stated that 8/10 people prefer Nike over Adidas. We were the first school to do exclusives rights with an apparel company 27 years ago...we started this trend and that trend was w/ and only has been w/ Nike. Literally the two go hand and hand...it makes no difference if we get more upfront money when our back end money will be dried up. This admin knows no bounds of tradition.

They are treating this deal like the Golden deal. They look at Golden buy out as saving up front money, when we will be f&&ked on the back end money (ticket sales, bigger bowl game pay-outs, conference championship game pay outs, etc.) This Admin knows nothing about anything...you think keeping Golden and his record was hurting recruiting...just wait until we keep Golden and we stop dawning the swoosh.

It is to much to expect (hope) uniforms to go in a different direction if UA or Adidas steps in. Schools don't care as it just gives them hope they might sell more of a new combination. It's all a business move.

the 8 of 10 is from Harry Rothwell polling his customer base. i like nike better but ill still buy UM gear regardless of company. Michigan still landed Peppers last year and had gone through some poor coaching hires since carr retired (rich rod, hoke). in 2012, 2013 they finished w top 10 classes and usually have been finishing high. Also factor in what ND finished when they were w Adidas.
