I haven't followed this recruiting cycle until recently, but from my perspective getting Richards back into the fold would be a HUGE get. Guy is a stud.

Bama is clearly targeting him as next in line to take over as their WR1 from South Florida after Ridley. Gotta keep this talent home

Here is the thing though, Ridley is there for at least another 2 years.

Corey bender told chad willson that he believes richards will recommit to miami but didn't say tonight. He said richards heart is at miami just like zach was. Said it's a miami and bama battle but thinks it's all about being comfortable with the new staff.

For a team that only completes an average of like 15-16 passes a game. Not alot of targets to go around. Also qb is unproven.

I agree but tell that to Georgia Tech and their amazing wide receiver history over the last decade. I think that's a benefit for sure just saying Saban is gonna Saban

It's true that GT has produced 2 studs in Calvin and Demaryius, but Calvin was gone before Paul Johnson and his option attack got there and Demaryius was already on the roster when PJ got there. They ain't producing guys like that under PJ

Really wish we would have had the last visit with him. By the time he gets to Town Saban will know what kind of class he has lined up. If Bama misses on some of their other targets Richards will get the full court press...

Listen, I agree with you guys, Golden was terrible and Golden got some to stay over Bama but any good coach should get athletes to stay home to a major program.

But are you guys implying that other schools can beat saban at will and it's simply because we had golden? like Jimbo? Richt while at UGA? Spurrier while at SC? Miles at LSU? all these guys recruit florida.

It's dumb to ignore that saban has pulled many great recruits right from underneath miami. Will that change with Richt? probably, but Saban is the best coach in the country is all i'm saying and it's never easy to recruit against him which is why he ALWAYS pulls a top 3 class. All I was stating was going to be hard for recruits to say no to bama

again, nobody said he's a terror in south florida. Didn't say he owned recruiting in Florida. Didn't say he was going to get whoever he wanted out of our back yard and Richt or whoever wouldn't stand a chance. Simply stated that it's hard for a recruit to say no to bama. Can anyone dispute that? no. 4 titles in 7 years.

I mean after all, the entire board says winning is the best formula for recruiting right?
