Not really a stab in the dark... Most expected him to re-commit.

Add that with a coach visit & an official visit this weekend right? Things are looking good!

u can never count out bama. that said richt isn't golden. this isn't golden's staff. this staff can coach. richt has alot of cache with recruits that golden and his staff never had. they were good recruiters but not on richt scale.

give this staff a chance to show u just how good they can be. richt and this staff should start to put a fence around kids they want from south florida. look out because kids here want to be canes, richt as coach can make it happen. and he will get the right kids. that alone should make people happy.

i think to many people are still in that golden mindset. this is a diffrent staff with much better track record.
 
I haven't followed this recruiting cycle until recently, but from my perspective getting Richards back into the fold would be a HUGE get. Guy is a stud.

Bama is clearly targeting him as next in line to take over as their WR1 from South Florida after Ridley. Gotta keep this talent home

Here is the thing though, Ridley is there for at least another 2 years.

For a team that only completes an average of like 15-16 passes a game. Not alot of targets to go around. Also qb is unproven.
 
He is more likely to commit to us than to Bama. Most kids choose the school closer to where they live

I agree but tell that to Georgia Tech and their amazing wide receiver history over the last decade. I think that's a benefit for sure just saying Saban is gonna Saban
