Ferman Suggesting Golden Going to Rutgers?

Leave a loaded UM team who just took the national champs to the wire for a Rutgers team without a pulse?

C'mon

It is about his future. Three things:

1. He doesn't get 2 or more years here based on these current results (should be fired already but not the point).

2. He may get 3-4 more years at another program like Rutgers with lower expectations. He knows NJ and he may be better suited in the Big 10.

3. He needs to weigh his options and do a cost benefit analysis. If he wants to remain in coaching and start again (i.e. clean slate), he should leave now. If he leaves (i.e. like Muschamp with a buyout) it will be difficult to get another HC gig.

He should also know that if he fails at a place like Miami, he might not get another job anywhere, anyhow. His used car salesman act only has a little juice left, bounce when the time is right….

Every one of the top 10 players in the state of New Jersey has made a commitment

Not 1 has picked Rutgers, the state University

That program is on a free fall from time Schiano left

Imagine FSU or Florida getting nobody from Florida LOL.

There is no coach better positioned to try to change that with Golden's jersey ties

They made the decision to go into the Big 10. They have the money, a big house for the coach on campus, etc.

I could be wrong but I do think this is a decision he will have if not this year then next year

He has come so far at Miami. I have no idea where his head is at. Its not like the fan base is embracing him, but I have to think Saturday night helped in that regard.

What he posted

I mean you want to smash Golden for that last 4 minute drill I'm on board... But good god it is abundantly clear that most of this board has never played football

That is why he should consider an offer like Rutgers or Illinois or KU or UVA NOW why he has an active job.

Just got some interesting insight on this. Take it with a grain of sand.

Ferman is a complicated man, often misunderstood. This is not one of those occasions.
