Ferman says Hightower wants back in

Regressed? No Wiggins, pope, Harley all looked better than they did the year before. I do Love or hate Stubbs as a position coach. With that being said we can do better at his position as well as everywhere on the coaching staff
Theres a big difference in progression as a player and putting up better numbers. They put up better numbers because they get FAR more opportunities and a better route tree. In Dee case I agree he got better but its cause he grew up some and worked in the offseason. He developed confidence.

If you hit the portal or go missing for a day or more you should never be allowed back on the team.

Why Manny has made quitting Acceptable is beyond me.

Shut the **** up. No one wants to play in a Richt or Enos offense.

Yall sit here bashing the offensive coaches all day but then condemn the kids that dont want to play in it.

Gtfoh with this holier than thou BS.

Trust me yall know very lil about what a choad him and his boys really are. I agree about the message it sends and nephew knew my opinion on this beforehand. However the decision he made was the right decision for him all things considered
What he does from here will be on him as well.
Are "his boys" the ones probably going away? Because that would be great.

With our (hopefully) new spread offense we’ll need all the WRs we can get. We don’t have a physical presence on the roster at the position either.

Thanks for the retarded comment. You really moved the conversation forward. I wouldn’t expect a jobless basement dweller that can’t construct a solid counter argument to understand the point I and some others are making.

I don’t understand why Hightower would want to come back if they retain Stubblefield irregardless of a new OC. If he‘s fired (hopefully), I hope Hightower waits to see who their replacements are before making a final decision.

I can’t imagine how bad it must’ve been behind the scenes. Manny should’ve handled that ******* enos earlier in the season.

How do you let these kids back in with a straight face? Offense coulda used Hightower down the stretch, offense could have used Cleveland Reed when offensive line were dropping like flies against Duke.

F**k this. This **** is so soft

No one blames him for leaving. I wouldn’t blame any player for leaving this **** show and this piece of **** staff. Everyone understands the circumstances so we aren’t blaming the kids for leaving.

But if you really want to accountability, and for a Miami commitment to mean something then you have to set that tone. It’s not a knock against Hightower or any other kid. It’s leadership 101. Jarren, Tate and Thomas should’ve been shown the door and Reed should’ve never been allowed back in.

Once Manny stabilizes the program and establishes himself as a real head coach then I’d have no problems letting kids back that hit the portal. But this program is not in that place right now.

Respect to you and your nephew, this is nothing against him.
That I can respect 100%. And as I've said I agree theres no place for quitting. However it's a process to fix the culture etc. It begins(from the teams perspective) with the staph being accountable themselves. This isnt normal what we have had going on here. I know I talk about butch and about mario because I know them as men. I know their morals and what they stand for. I've seen butch fire coaches on the spot for minor issue let alone the lunacy we have had here. As a staph you have to uphold at the very least what you promised these kids families when it comes to there livelihood, there safety, there health, mental well being and not take advantage of that relationship you built. I'm not talking about playing time cause a kid NEEDS to do his part as well. But the rest should be a given. And that comes with playing for a man with morals not some shade tree mechanic or car salesman...

His pt never went down. And yes it's clear with the comments you make it becomes personal. You're not making football comments your talking about his character and everything else. Honestly I find that personal and sad as you say you work with underprivileged children etc... Really hope that's not being taught to them. I understand the quitting comment as I share the same beliefs. But the rest is excessive and shows ur character. Far as who beat him out run with that. Even stumble**** wouldnt tell you that and that was with enos playing his favorites. I'd say for a man to insist from a child that he sticks his nose firmly up his *** is teetering on pedophilia. But that's just me.
our program works on Accountability principles..if a kid doesn’t show up for school but thinks they can come and hangout at the center..we send them home. We have a line to all our HS aged kids guidance counselors. If a kid acts out in school, we take action to redirect the problem. We don’t let things slide because in the real world that doesn’t happen. Your accountable for your decisions and actions. And they have consequences...which bring me to my stance. You quit on your team to seek other transfer opportunities as a player who has made marginal impact a rotational piece..if I’m the coach, I’d give you a handshake and do whatever I can to help you land at another spot, but it wouldn’t be on my team.

For whatever reason BT Quit in a time of need and decided it’s in his best interest to leave the program’...as I look back..nothing I said was personal or attacked his overall character. On the question should Miami just allow him back..I said he was slow and stiff and just like out other WRs I don’t see him create separation...you can go the grad transfer route and find a veteran WR to replace him..which is my opinion purely based on what I’ve seen and which I PURELY kept in the context of football..maybe you getting me mixed up with the others here who have been out of line.

Uhh NO.

I like Hightower a lot and I hope he comes back but “Freak” was called that for a reason.

Only dude with more physical talent was Megatron
Bro I know this..he is not on par with Dre..but according to some his a coach away from AA

Manny isnt the man yall think he us though. I still remember the first conference call we had mid season when he was trying to find out why b was so unhappy. Stumble**** was on the line saying this that and the third and while he was saying it I sent a screen shot from stumble**** to manny. I than asked him about his resume. Manny went into saying all his great accomplishments with enos etc. So I sent manny stumble****s resume. Manny literally looked at it(u know how when someone opens a message u see it)and then said word for word "what the fvck". I laughed my ****** *** off. Anotherwords manny had no clue what buddies resume was. He just took enos word for who he wanted. How the fvck as a first time head coach who already knows he got the job as a favor and needed to prove ALOT of people wrong do you allow that to happen. That's crazy to me.

So are you stating that Manny had no idea what position coaches were being brought in AND did not bother to look into their backgrounds until October? I want to make sure I understand what you’re saying and not inferring

I’m not sure why this is even a discussion. Manny let JT come back and that kid was a disaster. Same with Martell. If Hightower wants to come back, bring him back. If we hire the right OC, he’ll be happy he allowed him to come back
