@Dr.L.ThugU sent me a text this morning saying that Ferman misses you and would really like to have you back on the board. He didn’t mention myself, @stevehick or @FlatlandCane as people he wanted back on the board

Flatass was a good boy over there for years. Gru did his annual thing where he would ban me a week before national signing day because I would call out his bullshiit clickbait fog of war nonsense. Flatass went ballistic and spammed everythread with a manifesto about what a piece of shiit gary is and how terrible the site is. He posted it like 40 times before they realized what he was up to and banned him. Gary was furious.

So I just watched Ferman's last show (on YouTube now). I've never actually seen anything of his. He and his partner are complete and utter morons. They said a ton of stupid **** (I'm only 20 minutes in). However, the worst thing was that Mario is the only guy that should be accepted as the coach outside of possibly Kiffin. They said they'd rather keep Manny next year than "settle" for anyone else.

Here's the best part....they used Aranda and Mark Stoops as examples of coaches Miami would potentially settle for. Then, Ferman literally said, "the worst thing that can happen is they can't get Mario, they can't get Lane, and they have to go to the field and end up with a Mark Stoops or Dave Aranda". Then they say, "Is there really that big of a difference between Manny Diaz and Mark Stoops?"

I’ve only said this 500 times so I’ll make it 501:

If Mario doesn’t come this year, he’s not coming next year. If you can’t make him say yes with a total rebuild & blow up now, then move on and call it day.

Lane is there for the taking. The issue won’t be Lane. It would be the admin who wouldn’t want to take Lane and of course they would rather suck than take the risk with Lane.

Your Gifs would get deleted for a day and then they would ban you. You are not allowed to poke fun of posters or Gary/Matt, but especially gary. his skin is sooooooo thin.

I have a high tolerance for stupidity and bs, (ie being at grusport since 2005), but once I get my fill, it’s Katie bar the door!
 
So lets ***** SMU and promote Lashlee if he is so valuable. Methinks TVD talent is exceptional enough to attract a top OC if Lashlee goes, maybe even better. Talent attracts talent.

So, Ferman is now saying basically what we've been reading here at CIS for some time.

It's not necessary to continue to wait on letting Manny go. What AD of the potentials that we know of - Zo or Vinny or whoever - would keep him? And, if you hire an AD that would keep him, what are you saying about the future direction of the football program? It makes no sense to go into a season with a coach you lack confidence in. Either be all in or move on. UM is moving on.

I can't imagine a scenario where Zo or Vinny would keep Manny, so why continue to prolong this? I mean at this point, Oregon knows they are on the clock with Mario, so I can't imagine that they aren't working their back channels for a potential replacement in case he leaves. I'm sure Kentucky and Ole Miss are preparing packages for their coaches to try to keep them as I'm sure there will be multiple teams contacting them. So, why wait?

And I share the concerns others have expressed about being too inbred, but I know Zo is an alpha, he has experience running a football organization, and that he loves UM, same with Vinny.

There are too many intelligent and powerful people involved for this to continue as is. My guess is we push through the present impasse and have clarity early next week. I know what our history over the past decade has been, but we have new influencers on the BOT. I'm speaking this into existence. LOL.

Good luck to Lashlee at SMU. I hope we keep Likens and T. Rob. Bring me a LB guru. Patke needs to move to away from Manny and to another defensive system to learn more about the game. That is not intended as a slight. It is sound professional advice.

And good luck to Manny. I do not blame him for taking the job offered to him. I blame Blake and our executive leadership for that. In any case, if Manny is who his supporters think he is - an up and coming young coach, he will leave here, go to a G5 program as HC - most likely, and become - in his own way - the next Luke Finkell. I could also see him being hired as a DC at P5 program. And yes I've seen the issues with our defense, but I am confident he's better than who some program currently has as their DC. UT should be knocking his doors down.

So, everyone's conscious can now be clear and everyone can move on.
