Ferman reporting the money is now there to get Mario

Their chief of staff works under the HC. We’re creating a position above the HC. Little different
I knew that would be brought up as an example but do you really think our situation with Zo would be equivalent to what FSU is trying to do with that position? Not to mention that I'm obviously not part of the Luigi Cult but he'd be coming in here not exactly from Memphis and with a whole lot more leverage than a guy getting his first big job.

No clue what FSU is trying to do. I only read here that FSU is awesome and their chief will be better than our guy.

What happens when Wario wins 7 games next year? He inherited a great O-line and 1st rd QB.
Would you call a Cane like Mario, Wario to his face? His line will be bigger next year and he plugs in 2018 #3 Pro Style QB who is 6'6" like Herbert but more of a gunslinger.. plus it's the Pac12 and you think he s gonna win 7 games, STOP..

Let's add this up:

- Mario just won the Pac-12 in year 2 at Oregon
- Had the #13th ranked class in 2018, spearheaded by Penei Sewell who will likely be a 1st round draft pick
- Had the #7 ranked class in 2019 which featured the #1 ranked overall player in Kayvon Thibodeaux
- Currently has the 18th ranked class, with commits from the #1 ranked LB in the country in Justin Flowe & is still in contention for multiple high ranking prospects that will raise their class rankings come NSD February
- Has complete lockdown of local West Coast recruiting grounds with USC, UCLA & Washington all being down as programs
- Has total support from Oregon's administration, unlimited resources from Boosters & Nike money
- Has a highly supportive dedicated fanbase, playing in front of sold out On campus stadium every game
- Doesn't have to worry about people torching him & flying banners after one year if immediate expectations aren't met
- Is in the Driver's seat to dominate the Pac-12 conference for years to come given how weak it is
- Easy road to the playoffs IF he can manage an undefeated season in the near future
- Can recruit nationally & get high level kids up to Eugene, including Florida boys
- Top level facilities

OR...

- Come to Miami & deal with Mangina James, Jenn Strawley & a BOT that's on permanent vacation
- Won't be given enough money to hire the assistants you want
- Will not have necessary financial support from the administration, recruiting budget allocation will be pennies on the dollar
- Will have to recruit against major P5 schools for local recruits while having no Bag dropping support on the ground
- Boosters that don't give AF about football
- 2nd class facilities
- No on campus stadium
- Fickle toxic fan base that will be calling for him to be fired after the first game he loses
- Will be ridiculed & crowned in the media if you fail at your hometown school
- Play in half full stadium away from campus & will not have a patient supportive fan base
- Ruin the upward trajectory of your career by going back home & getting fired in 2-3 years

If Mario left his situation at Oregon I would seriously question if there's something wrong with his head, you'd have to be on some hardcore drugs to make that dumb of a decision.

Money ain't a issue, Oregon is going to give him an extension & pay raise, there's literally not one single legitimate reason for Cristobal to leave Oregon for Miami, not one.

Yup, other then it being his alma mater, there's not one single thing that gives him an advantage at Miami. All we have is history and national titles (our last one is coming close to 20 years) to sell him. You could almost make the argument that the ACC is easier than the Pac-12....until you bring up Clemson.

FSU got 20 million in what seemed like a few phone calls. 8 figures. 7 figures is kinda low.

Let’s break the football team away from the school like FSU and other schools have. Run it like a corporate entity that’s goal is winning.

FSU also has a **** of a lot more alumni than we do and the number increases each year with a much larger student body. Something to consider when you think what money is available to a program.

Pretty much lot of what I said in a post the Mods gotta await to approve for the new guy, stupid board rules if ya ask me? You hit the Cons for him harder.. good post, living in reality you is

It never ends. They got a get out of jail free card when Richt retired and they blew it by hiring Manny. Now they may have a chance for a do-over and instead they’re going to set the program back another 5 years by hiring Mario.

maybe zo will meet with Blake and tell him “I ain’t afraid of you b—tch.” I can see the pee running down Blake’s leg.
Reminds me of true lies.
Flake reminds me of that con artist in that movie when Arnold made him pee himself.

Twice. (RIP Bill Paxton)

Mario in Miami will be able to recruit better than Mario in Oregon despite the financial resource disparity. There’s only a handful of programs you don’t have to jump into a plane to recruit most of your players, Miami being one of them. Oregon’s location will always be a limiting factor. Although MD is doing all that he can to burn this program down, the Miami Brand still brought in a decent recruiting class. Mario would clean shop here.

I can’t believe we still believe Ferman! This guy has been wrong more times than right and remember he works for a recruiting site that is slowly losing members! This guy should be working for The Enquire as he delivers more fake news than Facebook!
