Feldman suspects change is coming

College football insider, Bruce Feldman of The Athletic, expects the Miami Hurricanes football program to make a change at head coach after this regular season.

Feldman, a Miami alum that is the author of Cane Mutiny, a book that chronicled the Hurricanes’ rise to dominance in the 1980s and beyond, shared his thoughts on his recent ‘The Audible With Stew & Bruce’ podcast when discussing the upcoming coaching carousel.

“I suspect it probably will come open,” Feldman said. “Now remember, they have an AD search that they have to get going, so it is complicated right now,” Feldman said.

If Miami makes the move to part ways from Diaz, Feldman is confident the Hurricanes will have options.
“That is why I think Miami will end up making a change,” Feldman said. “I think they know that if they can’t get Mario, they can probably get Lane.”
Holy sh*t, that's amazing! He must have some kinda magical telescope to see that.

Yup, Feldman was saying we couldn't afford Manny's buyout and another top coach (Mario) just a month ago lol
I heard him in an interview about 2 weeks ago he declined to comment and said some info he got previously was wrong so he's doing to check with more.sources before.he comments on the Miami job. Then he had this info on a podcast this week.

Info can change day to day or week to week, he owned up to it and put this out there.

Maybe leash is a better term. And, no, that's not Zo's job to baby sit. It will be part of his job to hold people accountable. Grown men still need to be held accountable. Age and your size doesn't make you a "grown man".
Listen ... when you are given the responsibility of leading football programs ( Tennessee, USC, L A Raiders, FAU, Ole Miss ... you are a grown man. 'Nuff said.

Everyone is pretty confident but aren’t sure if it might or might not happen.

Everything posted is spot on

Being given responsibility doesn’t make you a grown man. Taking responsibility does. A bit of a difference. But it looks like we will just agree to disagree and move on.

This is my second post regarding these. Mario and lane would do great. But for long term success. I think Brain Kelly has done great job at Notre Dame. He is overall record 106-39 @ND. According to Rival recruiting less than 15 every year. He reminds of Jimmy Johnson coaching at OSU but because he played Oklahomas and Nebraska every year in the early 80s could not get over the hump. He would leave Notre Dame because he has been there for 11 years and cannot break through. He has been to the playoff. Imagine if he had the recruits in Miami, his tenacity and no nonsense mentality he would do well. Just a different perspective
