Feldman suspects change is coming

exactly this. plus Saban is like 70 and his job requires more than an AD's job would. 65 is old, but it ain't that old.

He hasn't taken a day off since who knows when. He's been at Bama since 50 something? He hasn't tasted retirement and is just one of those guys that keeps going to cement their legacy. Jimmy retired from cosching early, had more in the tank, but found other ways to live life.

Guess we'll find out.

you could argue that taking time off would only rejuvenate him. we'll see what shakes out.

Manny has won 5 of his last 6 games. Why would they fire him?

1. Mario 2. Kiffin

If Jurich is the AD, I could see him go after Kiffin if the Mario deal falls through.

I also think a guy like Zo, if chief of operations, can keep a lid on Kiffin shenanigans.
These are grown men ... what makes you think the job is about keeping "a lid on ..." someone.

Word is Mannys buy out drops 2 or 3 million after 12/2
Assuming that is the case and Manny is unwilling to negotiate, obviously you wait until then. But of course, all things are negotiable... seems to be ceremonial in CFB to fire underperforming on Sunday after the final game of the season - so, to appease the fans/stakeholders, you offer him some sort of sweetener to be fired and announce the firing on Sunday (11/28). Will the University do that?... who the **** knows with this administration and all the "new AD will determine Manny's fate" chatter.

Maybe leash is a better term. And, no, that's not Zo's job to baby sit. It will be part of his job to hold people accountable. Grown men still need to be held accountable. Age and your size doesn't make you a "grown man".
