College football insider, Bruce Feldman of The Athletic, expects the Miami Hurricanes football program to make a change at head coach after this regular season.

Feldman, a Miami alum that is the author of Cane Mutiny, a book that chronicled the Hurricanes’ rise to dominance in the 1980s and beyond, shared his thoughts on his recent ‘The Audible With Stew & Bruce’ podcast when discussing the upcoming coaching carousel.

“I suspect it probably will come open,” Feldman said. “Now remember, they have an AD search that they have to get going, so it is complicated right now,” Feldman said.

If Miami makes the move to part ways from Diaz, Feldman is confident the Hurricanes will have options.
“That is why I think Miami will end up making a change,” Feldman said. “I think they know that if they can’t get Mario, they can probably get Lane.”

Really going out on a limb there

1. Mario 2. Kiffin

If Jurich is the AD, I could see him go after Kiffin if the Mario deal falls through.

I also think a guy like Zo, if chief of operations, can keep a lid on Kiffin shenanigans.

Every time I see him, I want to laugh. He’s a clueless dope. Not trying to be disrespectful, but he’s earned it by pretending he’s still in any sort of loop. Jurich, Mario and the rest is for clicks and conversation…

Nothing earth shattering but should stop all the National media from speculating on the Manny returns talk

If Jurich is a killer like people say. Who is to say he doesn't look at Kiffin and say, this is the guy we need

I would be surprised if he worked again. 63 or whatever, what's the point? Enjoy life, family, and the money most people won't see in their lifetime. If he does want to come do some more work, guess he's got unfinished business.
