Feldman: Manny will be backed until end of year by administration

Gonna be a very long season. Image gonna get **** on even more. Game day gonna make a whole segment devoted to bashing Miami and it’s Football program. Get so toxic that the talking heads will have ammo to talk other coaches from taking the job. Ahh good times ahead

Feldman doesn't know squat. Once it is clear that the Coastal is lost .. i.e., lose to UNC, NcState, and Pitt, then Manny is toast. Timing will be similar to Al Golden, late October, 2015. Six years and back in the same spot .. firing an inept coach. Need to get the next one right.
I think you are exactly correct.

USC looks rejuvenated after firing Helton. Guess we'll need to sit still and take it because these liberals want to placate the slimy former mayor.
I don’t think this is a fair analogy as far as timing. Helton had been at USC for 6 years. That means his contract situation was entirely different, and the frustration level was much higher. As coaches they may have been the same but Helton was given a very long rope, especially considering his lack of success.

It's a different circumstance of course, I just wonder if we'd get the interim HC boost like SC has enjoyed.

Larry Scott was a decent interim HC in whom the players believed. Firing Golden when we did at least gave us the miracle at Duke. It would be a shame to see this get so bad that players quit and transfer mid-season.

Agree 100%. So far the players have not given up on Manny but we are 1 blow out away from that changing. And we capable of being blown out any week.
