Feldman: Manny will be backed until end of year by administration

Its gonna turn toxic fast.. That mid october meltdown is gonna be intense, ask al golden.. completely empty stadium already happened on thurs.. I know they happy we got most of home games out the way but that back 2 back unc/ncst train that should happen gonna be hard to ignore.. Who is manny gonna depend on to save him? Flagg? Stiff neck cam? McCloud??? Good luck with that
Flagg may have had a nice int against UVA, but he's invisible on a lot of plays. Doesn't make a lot of tackles in relation to minutes played. I don't understand why we don't see Austin-Cave. Kid can run and make all the plays in the run and pass game.

If cave doesn’t see much time in this second half of the season , wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves too .. just don’t see him sitting around hoping the coaching staff gives him a chance …

The caveat of “end of season” doesn’t sound like much confidence or backing. At least it wasn’t we are behind Manny and his plan for this programs future. Something like that would be worrisome but if they have a timeline. Not good sign for Manny.

This type of **** gets said every time a coach is on the hot seat at a P5 program.

****, usually the "vote of confidence" from the admin means the dude is gone.

We get blown out by UNC, or lose to FSU and hes gone the next morning. Bet my account on it.

If true the administration is saying to the fan base, alums and former players that This is what we are going to get. As much as it may hurt the only way for our voice to truly make an impact is not to support their decision. Empty seats on national tv with merchandise boycotts is a little of what we can do. The team, is no longer fun to watch and the players think its a show and not a football game. It’s more of a priority to camera mug with bling than coming together as a team to win the game. You can have all this media bs of culture adversity and diversity. It’s all bs. It was once a smash mouth Game called college football.

And at the end of the season, what then? I'll tell you what then. Another lazy faux search followed by a ****ty hire and we wind the egg timer back another thre to five years and repeat the same shenanigans yet again. Yes, it's gonna be Groundhog Day in CG.

Nothing new really, with several off ramps to save face.

I'll add a prediction: our Canes will play against UNC in a uniform set that has a color combination of orange, green, and white, but maybe add some black. They will also wear helmets with U logo and cleats.

Sources tell me the UM leadership is expected to back Manny Diaz at least through this year. Unless they believe the team essentially quits on him and stops showing grit…

We got blown out against mich st at home and lost to inferior UVA team. Totally unacceptable no matter what injuries Miami has.
I went back before this year's MSU game and watched the UM v MSU 1989 game, which was my freshman year at UM. Our future pro QB Craig Erickson was hurt during the game. True freshman Gino Toretta came in the game and every single UM fan still expected to win the game, and we did, and on the road. Now every injury is an excuse for losing instead of an opportunity for the next future pro to get on the field earlier than expected.

Careful. Some slurpers will accuse you of living in the past and having unrealistic expectations

Classic movie. And legally accurate time and time again. My wife, who is a law professor, uses clips from the courtroom scenes to teach her students. The objections are accurate as are the legal rulings and communications between the parties. And it's hilarious. My only criticism of the movie is that Marisa Tomei was far too good looking to be with Joe Pesci.
