Feldman- Aranda Possibly To Baylor

Impressive hire. We can debate if Aranda is overrated as a DC but I think he's a great fit there as the head guy.
It'll all depend on who he hires as OC...

If he ***** up the OC hire he'll flame out hard at Baylor, he's gonna be in for a rude awakening when he realizes how difficult it is to field a good Defense in the Big XII, it's not like the SEC where you can play stout Defense, run the ball in a ball control offense & stumble your way into 9-10 wins annually. In the Big XII if you can't keep up with the pace of play & Spread the ball around all over the field, you're S.O.L.

I'm wondering which LSU coaches he takes with him.

wait what??.... Who's man's is this?. LMAO

Being real.

Since 2008 - Miami tore down the Orange Bowl and hired Shannon, Golden, Richt, and Diaz. - FAIL

Since 2008 - Baylor built a new on-campus stadium and hired Art Briles, Matt Rhule, and Dave Aranda. - WIN

I'm not going to make excuses for Miami or defend its abortion BOT. Baylor is better because smarter and better people run that school. The end.

Not impossible, but I'm very skeptical. It's widely known Aranda is very comfortable in his "I'm the greatest DC alive I dare you to fire me" role in life.

He's made comments that makes HC $ without HC pressure and bull****. I believe he has a limited media contact clause in his contract even.

Perhaps that has changed, but surprised a Baylor is going to pony up that kind of cha-ching. They share many similarities to our favorite Univ of Coral Gables.

Well, I deserve it...let's hear it...get it out of your systems now...

😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬

Put me in stocks and throw rotten vegetables.

Baylor out here hiring national championship defensive coordinators - we hire a bum defensive coordinator that has literally never won anything of significance at any point in his coaching career.

Not happening unless he’s a head coach.
He has Corey Raymond taking any elite db he wants, bags, a talent rich recruiting area, and just spanked Clemson. LSU will match or beat anything Baylor throws at him.

Just think, Coach O could’ve avoided all this attrition if he went the Miami route and had a staff full of mental midgets that not even D3 schools want to hire away as coordinators, much less HC.

Orgeron’s stint at Ole Miss does raise questions about how he’d be doing without one of the most expensive staffs in CFB, TBH.

While I’d prefer him over Diaz, I’m not one of the people on here who’s screaming that we should have hired Orgeron when we had the chance.
