When it's 2001 and you're supposed to clean up the field with everyone, this isn't a good win. When you come off 58-0, fire your coach, lose a well-loved parent, lose your QB, and have the greatest ending of the last decade, it's okay to be excited.

Top 10 Defense dumbass. Since when do we care what the name of the university we play is?

I remember when playing UM was just "Miami". The doormat. Things change...
 
The kids played their hearts out and the officials tried to steal a win from them. Those kids deserve to win the game. They showed a stat that said first time UM has beaten a ranked team on the road since 2009.
 
I'm thrilled for our kids. They have been through **** the last week.

To overcome everything, including 23 penalties and a questionable call on the goal line, I could care less that it was against Duke. It was our first road win over a top 25 team since 2009.

All analysis rings hollow tonight.

Their coach got fired and one of the leaders on the team lost his mom. They got the game ripped from them by refs, then overcame that through sheer will and divine intervention.

Just be happy for those kids and shut up about the rest.

Yeah nationally ranked Duke the strongest team in our admittedly weak conference. Great win. Build on it.

The problem with this mindset is ignoring what's happening right now and is why people tell us we are living in the past. Based on your mindset, if Duke somehow was good enough to make the playoff and wrecked us, or even beat us, you'd say we should have had it wrapped up by halftime.

Considering we just got blown out by Clemson and the coach got fired less than a week ago and Duke is ranked 22nd I think your friends are dumbazzes.

Boca: Remember, Miami won with a backup QB and a coach with no prior experience against a Duke team that has been a perennial winner the last 4 seasons... how about you get your head out of your *** and realize that this Miami team is extremely talented and could potentially win 9 games this year after starting off so terribly bad.
