Slow news day and I hadn't mentioned it before - I LOVED what I saw out of Burns! THAT guy is a weapon! He's the battering ram, Jerome Bettis type that can be the change upon we need! If most of our RB's don't transfer out, we are absolutely stacked in the position! I really hope we can get the ball to Burns enough this season to keep him here and let's do more of that this Saturday!

I think he just got bumped down to 4th on the depth chart, but I admire your optimism.
 
I also liked what he brought with limited time especially when he bounced that run to the outside and pope was spectating instead of blocking. Lol.. Thomas might be sleeping on Burns.

Maybe, but I also read Lingard was bumped to 3rd. Maybe he skipped over Burns like he was a Savannah State defender.

Lingard should have never been 5th. In my opinion, Lingard and Burns are the two best backs we have. Homer is solid, and Dallas could be a star as well. Just that Burns and Lingard are very, very natural runners.
 
Dejay needs to be a regular on the field very versatile need use like urban used what's his name at Florida.end around etc cmr is kinda like Coker .Coker didn't know how to use hyster in s same way with Dejay and cmr.find a way to get Dejay in space let his athletic ability dictate the result of the play

I love how after seeing all of two or three plays from some of these guys against Savannah freaking State y'all are crowning everyone.

Burns is beastmode with track speed. It's going to be hard for anyone to Jump the top 2 RBs, but he has a chance to be very special if he can stay healthy and make the most of limited reps. His center of gravity, physical prowess, speed and athleticism are a unique combination.

Richt should move DJ to FB and solidify that position. He has the demeanor and would be a match-up nightmare against LBs.
