ESPN ranked the incoming freshman nationally on various athletic traits:

Best lower body flexibility/bend: Collins Acheampong, Miami
ESPN 300 rank: 156

"This is an edge player with elite length (6-foot-7, 83-inch wingspan) and fluid movements. It's not surprising he played basketball. During the camp circuit his junior year, Acheampong quickly created a buzz with his performance, including a blazing 7.33 L-drill in what he said was his first time performing the quickness and change-of-direction test. It may take a little time to further develop in Miami, but players with his size and mobility are in high demand."

You can't coach his measurables.

The kid has legit size and already looks pretty well developed at this stage. I managed to catch a couple minutes recently of workouts of the DL and LB. For such a tall kid, he has some decent size on him already. A lot of these 6'5"+ kids tend to run on the skinnier side (a la Cyrus Moss)--he is not in that camp. He has a decent build for a 6'7" true freshman.

@Confidence1000 Tell Deebo the next time he’s interviewed on MNF after the game, to tell ESPN to pause on this entire article. It’s flagrant af “Elite Length w/ Fluid movement??” Sounds like an elite **** star. Fck it, I’ll tell them since my cousin works for them. Lol.

How long do one's arms have to be in order to grasp at straws?

Better stated as Fluid Movements of Elite Length.

Pause.

Go watch his basketball highlights. He gets up and down the court very well, gets off the floor well and has very good footwork. Show me a big guy who can play basketball and I will show you a really good athlete.
Frankly, with a little work he could easily be a college basketball player.

We all focused on last years OL haul with the 2 5*s but the DL class has a chance to be as elite when we look back in a few years.Bain should have been a 5* and Wayne was until he started favoring us and committing, they kept bumping him down with every update.Horton was severely under rated all year until he got a bump up late in the year. And Acheampong is well over 280 and still growing, only a matter of time before he's 300+ and playing next to Horton.
