All,
We're putting together a free CanesInSight App with the help of @Forumly. Below is a link to one of his apps for another Xenforo forum. I think the app will increase engagement and take the site to a new level.

I think the layout should be similar to the website now. Have the lightning at the top to see the most recent posts, the bell, DMs, your profile setting and the search bar next to it. The mobile page on CIS is actually so nice to use, I wouldn't necessarily install an app.

Of course you can do some stuff with the design, but don't go overboard. Functionality is the most important, people won't use an app if it doesn't work correctly.

And don't mess with the colors on the dark mode. Just keep that.
 
It should offer something unique to the app only if you want usage.
If it just a redundant copy of the mobile browser, what's the point.
What I would suggest in the app is a better GameDay experience vs the game day thread we currently have...that could be its unique feature as well.
 
Make sure you enable in-app purchases. I'd like to shoot my way up the leaderboard and secure the "Administrator" badge.

D it would be great to break out the content by Sports, Video channel for all your video content. Keep the boards. Obviously paid subscription without ads. I'd love for you to host your own content vs Youtube. Youtube podcast suck with two many ad cut ins. Great news!!

We've received a lot of complaints about the mobile experience, and I think a forum-specific app will make it a lot smoother based on what I saw from the exemplar app (see link in OP). It will also be more seamless in terms of getting notifications. We will also consolidate the video content so you can get all the podcast clips to your phone.
