Fedora not getting Temple job.

He never scored 40ppg as a playcaller. Applewhite did as an OC in 2015 for Houston and they went 13-1.... That's a statistical fact too.

(Insert you saying: "It wasn't his playbook! It was Hermans! That doesn't count!")

Blah blah..we have heard this all before. Its getting old.
Ok, now show me all the times Applewhite had a top 15 yards per play offense. Show me one season where his team averaged more than 7 yards a play. Compare all their seasons as playcallers and tell me which one has had better stats.

You guys really love garbage *** Fedora. Idiots here think that teams are fighting over for 1 time coastal champion Fedora.

Fedora OC and tee Martin co-OC wr coach?
Is that possible? Fedora was the first coach mentioned and was reported as what Diaz wanted.
The other reports say what they’ve heard from sources.

People saying Fedora would leave in a year if he received a decent HC offer, about every single assistant leaves for a P5 HC opportunity. **** Diaz left for TEMPLE.
If he leaves, go and get another one. Don't settle right now because we're afraid he would leave

Everything I read seemed speculation that Fedora might be interested in Temple because it was a HC job.

I like Fedora but I have to count him as another Temple reject that we're going to pick up (hopefully).

Didnt he have the 94th ranked just one year ago?

Seems many of you are forgetting Fedora is still getting paid. If he wants to be a HC he can wait a year it wont hurt his pocket. Furthermore it only cements the theory he would leave here as soon as the 1st decent HC offer was available.
The thing is, he's tainted goods right now. Especially as a HC. Yes, he could take a year off and still collect a check from UNC but does that really do anything to repair his reputation? It seems like he's not getting a lot of offers as a head coach right now and rightfully so, as UNC has been really bad the last two seasons. It would seem, that if he wants another head coaching gig, he's going to have to regain his rep as an offensive innovator. Taking a p5 OC job is just the way to do it. If he blows up at Miami or some other p5 OC job, it will prove that the problems at UNC were talent related, not coaching related.

LOL. Man IDGAF about all those meaningless stats. Under his playcalling, Houston went 13-1, the one loss they had was by 3 points, scored 40ppg and beat a very good FSU team in the bowl game... That's all I care about. We go 13-1 next year and guess what..that means we more then likely went to the College Playoff. Ill take that all day.

I just can't see Fedora taking an OC job soon. He is not the type who would go from HC to OC easily and work under a HC he may find to be less qualified than he is. And why the rush? He is getting his money from UNC as long as he "appears" to be looking for a HC job.

I wouldnt underestimate the desperation of ADs at lower tier p5 schools around the country looking to make a splash

After the train wreck that was UNC there will probably not be any teams that come calling for him to be a HC soon without him first rehabilitating his career as a successful OC!
