This game won us our 2nd National Title and turned me into a life long Cane fan. This game is listed as having the most future NFL players of all time.

Quick take:
All that talent.
Huge shoulder pads.
Walsh! My guy.
Explanation on the sideline of what holding up 4 fingers in the 4th meant.

Also, the "State Champs" sign at the end as this was the last year we played the Gaytors annually.

2003 rain game, 2004 Orange Bowl, 2004 Regular season OT game. Those were all awesome games to watch. The '04 reg season game got so loud when Sinorice caught that screen and started inside and bounced outside to tie it. Place went nuts.

The 2004 game was a ****ty, ****ty game until the last 5 minutes. Then, **** got real.

Yea it was bad football. It was first home game as a student at UM. Been to plenty before that growing up. I remember it pretty vividly because of the student aspect. We had a lot of **** games that year that turned around. Thursday night UL comes to mind.

I was living in Tallahassee then, watching with my neighbor who went to FAMU. He hated FSU. We were both drunk and ****ed for most of the game. When Miami finally won, we literally ran out into the street and did laps around the neighborhood yelling **** at all the FSU fans. They already hated us because he was the one black guy and I was the one ****** guy, so we were like, **** it.

Game was on Yom Kippur too. I was extremely light headed by the end of the game.

2009 game up in Tally.

Biased because I was there but it was a great game.

Will never forget the dime Jacory threw to Benjamin late in the game.

The UM fans there were lit!

One of the first games I ever saw as a little kid.

I love that game. Almost put it too. Loudest moment I ever experienced at the OB was Carlos Jones' pick 6. Sophomore year of HS. I got so ****ing drunk after that game (allegedly).

I was 12 years old, sitting in the WEZ and still remember not being able to hear myself think. This game has a special place in my heart. By far the loudest game I have ever attended. To me, this my personal favorite Miami/FSU game ever because the OB was magical that night.

As far as "underrated," I have to go with 2007 or 2009. Those games were crazy victories.

Was in the upper deck, in the southwest corner with a group of friends for this game. I remember almost falling over the railing after one of my buddies backed into me as we were all jumping up and down after the pick. Also remember looking down into the WEZ during the immediate postgame celebration and watching as a Cane fan grabbed the hat off of a Nole fan's head and tossed it high into the air, lol.

Was at the Washington, streak-ending game earlier in the year and that was an extremely painful experience. Was the sickest I've ever felt walking out of a stadium and it left me frustrated with our offense and questioning how far we'd be able to go that year with QB Frank Costa holding us back. Because of this I wasn't all that optimistic about our chances vs FSU that night.

I think the pain from that Washington game combined with the fear of losing to our biggest rival on that same home field later on in the year made this victory just that much sweeter to me. I had grown up in a time when you just expected the Canes to be dominant year in and year out and that year, for the first time, I started to see our dominance start to erode a bit. I hated the possibility of experiencing another loss because I was afraid of getting too accustom to losing. Beating FSU that night was thrilling. It showed me that the Canes still had a little bit of magic left in them

That throw. Coop returns. And the way the stadium went silent after the last play was called incomplete. They were going crazy thinking it was a TD...

I can't even enjoy past videos of these games anymore. Past 3 years just killed me. Won't watch one single video until we win and break this losing streak.

1987 game

Made the trip to Tallahassee and for almost 3 quarters FSU was brutally dominant. Yet, and to my surprise, the FSU fans who surrounded us kept saying to me and our group that they knew the Canes were going to come back. They were right! That catch and run of Michael's will always stay with me.

I actually understand how you feel. We need to win and end this nightmare.

My freshman year at the U. Watched this game at the ole Rat! One of my favorite comebacks. Game is a classic for sure

Even though we lost, 1999 was a good game. Canes fought hard. FSU was just too good that year and ended up winning the NC against Michael Vick's Hokies. It made the 2000 victory at the OB that much sweeter!

The 2009 game was also fun. Labor Day night game that went down to the last play. Jacory to Benjamin, great pass. Canes had me believing after that win!

GO CANES!!

I'll throw another vote for 2009. It probably gets overlooked because it ended up being meaningless in the national scope and neither team ended up being very good. That said, it was an exciting game full of big plays, back and forth lead changes that went down to the final play.

****, I still can't believe that was the last time we beat FSU. Goes to show you what happens when one school opens the wallet to hire a replacement coach and the other school hires coaches off a craigslist ad.
