Favorite Players From Hated Schools

For the most part, it is impossible to root for a rival in college, and only slightly less difficult to root for one of their players once they get to the NFL. That said, there are always a few exceptions. Here are mine:

FSU -- Warrick Dunn
UF -- Lomas Brown
Bama -- Derrick Thomas
Ohio State -- Eddie George
Notre Dame -- can't think of anybody


I'm sure lots of you extend the hate through pro careers, but who are some other players from rival schools you rooted for?

I'm a huge fan of the two Gator OL who blocked each other.

Even though I group up a big Dolphins fan (born 1987), I would also root for the 90's Dallas Cowboys.

I had a Michael Irvin framed photo, a Deion poster, and an Emmit Smith jersey.

However, once I found out what schools Deion and Emmit went to, I stopped being a fan.
 
Used to love Peter Warrick as a kid growing up, my pops quickly slapped some sense into me.

I was going to say nobody until I remembered Chris Rix.
 
I hate to say it, but Emmit Smith was always a gentleman, never got into trouble, was quiet and just did his job, never complained, and later for the Cowboys, he took a lot of beatings to win games for them.

Wish he'd have been a Cane - he sure played like a Cane.

There are no others.
