1981. The upset of #1 Penn State is the game that made me a Canes fan.

54:46 of the video, Kelly hit Larry Brodsky with an 80-yard TD and a 14-0 lead.

I was hooked.

I’m 28... that McGahee 02 campaign is what sealed it for me as a fan... even being in the heart of Texas surrounded by Horns, aggies, and ****** ass west Texas red raiders

As a 10 year old, the cotton bowl against Texas and then the Following 91 season..beat down of Houston, wide right I and then crushing Nebraska in the orange bowl had me completely hooked.

Miami 1966. Very good season capped off by Bill Miller beating Steve Spurrier in the last game of the season 21-16. That game made me apply to Miami which I did and started college in 1967.
Mad Stork menacing Steve got me and Canes owned me since.

There is still a place in my heart for the 86 team. Was legitimate being hailed as possibly greatest team ever. We absolutely destroyed Pedo st and gifted them like 7 turnovers.
JJ is still pissed off about that game. We were so far superior to other teams....it was unreal.

The 91 championship team. Beat FSU in the original wide right game, dusted Nebraska 22-0 in the Orange Bowl. I was 12.

No pictures. Videos did not exist.
1950 team. They were Undefeated regular season. Al Carapella and Jim Dooley both on that team.
Go ahead accuse me of being old. My great grand kids call me ancient.
Like a fine wine . . .
