Favorite Canes Gators memory/moment

WOW ,

This is impossible for me after witnessing the formation of Canes history if greatness.

From Friday night games in the OB , I stop my self here to remember the 1st monstrous win against ND again in the rain a ONE point win.

They came here for a BEAT DOWN EASY WIN and LOST .

I know that VERY few here if any remember back that far .

It was the 1st BIGGEN we won the next was Texas in the OB.

87, Kerwin Bell's Heisman campaign, "For Whom The Bell Tolls". Not Kerwin on this day, 15-33, 0 TD's, 3 interceptions, 3 dropped snaps and sacked 5 times. 31-4! Dominating them as had been done for a decade and a proper ending for those cowards. They chose FSU because they couldn't beat Miami, who they had been playing 20 years longer and fittingly, played each other for the Seminole War Canoe Trophy. Probably still throwing Gator fans through glass doors and windows in 87.

When the Canes beat the **** out of the Gayturds on Bourbon street a few days leading up to the Sugar Bowl. Al Blades started the whole thing…shocker LOL!

I watched the whole fight transpire, from 100' away. Not 3mins after this pic was taken with wifey at Paddy O'Briens.

At my age, it’s a great sign I can remember something that happened 40 years ago.

Just got caught up in the moment and was wishful thinking hoping to see another natty SOON.
I'm glad you posted this before I made the same mistake. I had written up an entire tearjerking post about how my beloved Uncle Duck taught me how to fish the day before he passed from cancer. That was 40 years ago today.

Sorry for your loss. I had an uncle that was like a father to me. Lost him about 5 years ago and he took a piece of me with him.

Stopping Nebraska’s 2 point conversion attempt to win our first natty.

You turn into fraggle when you're hungry.

2003 Canes 38 Gators 33. Epic comeback. Orange Bowl was rocking. Brock Berlin doing the gator chomp to the gator fans in the end zone at the end of the game.
This exactly.

Zero doubt it’s 2003 for me.

Had a knee reconstruction a few months prior in June. A few early setbacks and an infection eventually resulted in me medically retiring. It wasn’t a good time.

Buddy of mine I grew up with who was in UF pharmacy school drove down, picked me up, and had me over for a few days including the game day watch party he hosted. The emotions of the last few months and of the game led me to my decision to strip down when Leak threw the game ending pick. I jogged out of the door and screamed random obscenities throughout the parking lot of the apartment complex. It was the quickest I’d moved in months and was one of the more cathartic moments of my life.

My evening ended in the company of two UF sorority girls which made it that much sweeter.

One of the better memories of my life.

I wish I was going to the game, think I've attended 6 UM v UF games and we've won them all, including the Hester game and in Gainesville when Testaverde lead us to victory. A game I didn't attend but loved was the game where Kosar hit Brown for a TD on the last drive to win. The '03 game was the best of all of them though.

Hard to beat 03. I was 12 years old watching that comeback. But i did go the game in Orlando a few years back. When Deejay made that TD run, followed by a Felipe Franks INT, I thought we had the game.

For me (and probably most on here) it's Devin Hester KR TD and it's not close. Curious to see what others would stack up against it.

love the Brock Berlin gator chomp to throat slash
after their fans thought they had the win
