Favorite Canes game you have seen

It's really hard to pick just one but we had a blast in Tally in 2001. Beat them down in the rain and stopped their home win streak. Nole fans acted like they expected to lose before and during the game. None of them were even trying to talk trash and we took over that stadium.

Miami vs FSU 2017. We were ranked, the win made us 4-0 and we broke the 7-game win streak they had on us, in Tally to boot. And the way we won was crushing. They were talking **** the whole 4th quarter that they were a second half team. The best part was watching how many people stayed after waiting for a flag or a review. Stole their souls. Hadn’t had a chance to this happy about the Canes in a long time before that.

Very close between:

Best Michigan at Michigan in front of 110,000

Cotton Bowl versus Texas

There are so many but these (2) were wins also against Spirts Illustrated and anti Cane syndrome of the press that led and fueled us to tremendous victories on the road on our enemies home turf.

TV - Brock Berlin comeback vs UF

In person - 1999 vs Penn State. Yes, we lost at home but it was a game with heavy hitters (Penn State had Lavar Arrington) and there was just something about a day game in the pouring rain in the OB.
That game was so fun. I was in the student section, back when they put the students in the upper WEZ. They happened to put the Penn State students right next to us, which…was not a good idea. Of course trash talking ensued, which turned into a fight. The funniest part was that a group of Penn State guys started fighting and talking smack with my (guy) friends about Penn State having hotter girls than Miami, so that’s how the whole thing started.

And instead of repeating all the epic games that everyone else has covered, I’m going to throw out a new one…

Louisville 2004. Devin Hester was so electric and so incredible to watch in that game. It wasn’t a big, significant game in UM’s history or anything, but being able to see that play live was an honor.

Side note: I also had class with Devin (my UG career was split in two due to family issues - long story but I had to take a long leave in the middle); we actually sat next to each other that same semester. He was very humble and kind with any and all compliments, but apparently didn’t own any writing utensils, because he always needed to borrow one from me. 🤣

In person I’ve got 2…Wide Right the Sequel! Barrow laying out Vanover was bananas!! OB was in a frenzy on a typical hot-*** Miami day and 2000 vs FSU. I thought the OB was gonna topple over when Dorsey connected with Shockey.

Started going to games during the 89 season with my boys and haven’t missed a home game since 95.
