Favorite Canes game you have seen

ND 1989-lost my voice for a week
1991- Cotton Bowl-worst beating in Cotton Bowl history-it sure was cold that day
2001 FSU- first and only trip to Tally-very sweet

In person, Wide Right 1. On TV? Too many to list. First championship against Nebraska has to be at the top of just about anyone's list who was alive to see it.

Before my time, but HUGE win...

03 UF game

I've enjoyed and even rewatched many of the ones listed but none more than that. Just the canefreak video is enough for a quick pick-me-up if I'm feeling blue.

Was on fire with the Hester and Taylor returns. I was begging Coker to pull Berlin. I remember Beard dropping every pass. I remember Beard catching every pass. I remember telling myself I won't stand up in celebration until we took the lead. I remember Brock cramping up running for a 1st and then him coming back after the timeout. I remember Chris Leak looking like a ***** running for his life. The game really had everything.

2001 in Tallahassee after the beat down they put on us a couple years before looked at their future schedule and knew if they stayed undefeated they would be close to our home winning streak it was my first game in Tallahassee we just dominated them I never seen wide relievers so scared in a game they would look at the qb then look for #20 and hit the ground never lift there arms above there shoulder pads I kept yelling gator arms then some fsu broad told me they are the Seminole not the gators. If you get a chance to watch the game again watch there recievers

Too many to list.
A few notable.

1989 ND
1998 UCLA
1988 Michigan
2001 UF (OB)
2003 UF
1990 Nebraska (OB)
1991 Cotton Bowl
Every FSU wide right/left
1988 Orange Bowl
Great games. Sleeper attention would be OT win at Clemson 15-20 yrs ago.

01 Natty Game

Purely because of the vindication I felt in telling people we would bottle that option sh*t up.

“We have LBs that can run… and if you’re from Florida (at that time) you grew up playing against the option from the time you start playing football. We won’t be fooled by anything they do”

I felt like Nostradamus 😎

Virginia vs Miami 2023 overtime. It's was the first football game I took my older son to. Watching him take it all in. From being hype to being sad to being hyped again. When we got in the got car, he said " Dad! That was awesome!"🥲

2) 2002 Miami vs FSU (Dorsey to McGahee screen) 28-27 win

5) 2024 Miami vs VT (hailmary td or not at the end) 38-34 win
6) 2018 Miami vs FSU (N'Kosi Perry comeback game down 27-7 in 3rd Q) 28-27 win

TV (tie between these two):
2024 Miami vs Cal (most EPIC comeback ever down 35-10 halfway through the 3rd Q) 39-38 win
2003 Miami vs UF (Berlin game comeback from down 33-10 halfway through the 3rd Q) 38-33 win

TV Honorable Mention:
2003 Miami vs OSU National Championship Game - yes, we "lost" but to this day it was one of the most epic games I have ever seen and the best and most suspenseful national championship game ever. From going down 17-7 to coming back after losing McGahee to such a gruesome injury and Sievers nailing the kick to tie it up at 17 and force OT. From Roscoe's fumble on a huge play the series before to going for a huge return to make up for the fumble and get us in field goal range. To thinking we won the national championship 24-17 to go back to back after the ball went through Gamble's hands on 4th and 2 in OT. To the bull**** late flag penalty on Glenn Sharpe a seeming eternity later. Yes, we got robbed and should have won in the first OT. To the pain and sadness that I felt for weeks after Dorsey's last pass in the 2nd OT fell incomplete. I felt like a family member died and I've still never gotten over it. Even to this day. I have ******* HATED OSU since that game. They are my 2nd most hated team after the Gators and will be for life!!!!!

On TV it has to be the Notre Dame game in 2017 I've only heard stories because I was too young to see the 2001 team but man that felt special watching it and for at least an evening it felt like we were back.
In person it has to be the comeback against FSU back in 2018 It was an unbelievable feeling I was sitting behind the FSU bench full of all of their fans and even they QB family was there as well made witnessing the comeback Win even sweeter

2002 vs FSU, noon kickoff with temp around 95 and humidity around 90%. We trailed 27-14 with approximately 10 minutes left when all **** broke loose and the Canes came back to win 28-27. The screen pass to McGahee was a thing of beauty.

Then Beitia missed a FG (where have we seen this before) and Bowden actually thought it was good and that FSU had won...the look on his face was priceless!!

Two favorites: Miami-Nebraska 1983, the game that started it all.
Butch's beat down of the Gators in 2000 when we should have been playing in the National Championship Game.
