Why did we schedule a Friday night game? I understand the ability to be on national tv but our audience will be on the field playing their own HS games. The stadium will be even more empty as HS football rules in SFLa. Does anyone else not like the 8pm Friday night kick time?

National exposure isn't a sure thing anymore. We played GT on SunSports last year. A nationally televised game on ESPNU when people are salivating for football is a good thing imo. Stadium will be empty but what the **** else is new.

Extra day to prep for UM biggest game since Oklahoma in 2009 and Golden's biggest game in his coaching career..

I'm not complaining if it gives us another opportunity to watch them on TV. It'll be a disappointing turn out but thankfully it's FAU

CFB is ESPN money maker and if you notice slowly and slowly they are starting to schedule CFB games every night except Monday which is obviously MNF and sunday. Tuesday and wed are MAC games during the year. Thursday night is usually a ACC or Pac 12 game. Now on friday nights they show WAC, Pac 12 or Big East primetime games. Sat is king for ESPN during CFB season. ESPN needed a big name like Miami for Friday night to kickoff the season. On thursday they already have UNC VS USCe and the big primetime games on Saturday UGA VS CLEMSON TCU VS LSU and Bama vs VT.

Actually good for us, other than the crowd. They should give away 20K free tickets to that game. Every CFB junkie in America will be watching.

FAU will bring some people.

If Canes fans go to a high school football game (excluding of course relatives) over a Canes game they aren't Canes fans anyway.

40k+

ONE day sooner is good for me. Can't wait. Flying from NYC for it. (duh). Get to watch Stacey Coley all second half, baby.

Theres some pretty good buzz around the prog. The FAMU opener in '10 drew 50K+ and it looked like it. That game was on a thurs. I think it will be respectable

im excited to watch it on tv wish we had more fans in stands but there will be vs florida so its all good

The majority of people watching will be turning this game off around the 3rd quarter. Canes fans will continue watching to catch glimpses of kids they haven't seen play yet. FAU is going to get murked.

I honestly hope this game isn't on national television.

A. Because I will be at the game
B. Because the stadium is going to look pretty **** empty on TV and that doesnt help us whatsoever.
C. Because starting our television run with our *** pounding of Florida is great exposure for the first time we're on TV this season.

Can't wait, can roll right up to the stadium quick like,no band wagon ***gots from South Fla.,just diehards.

Watch the entire game and exit stadium with a breeze.
