While I'm not sure that he'd do it, Golden still has the "Fire the majority of your assistants" card to play to buy himself more time and of course The Troll would more than likely eat that **** up like it was 20yr. cooze instead of opting to ****can him and pay the buyout.

If he had the sack for that he would have done it last season. He's going down with the ship.

Not necessarily. The contract he has is what's important, the details, buyouts, and our personal funds available post Golden. Perhaps he knew last year that he had the upper hand and there was nothing they could force him to do thus he had another year by default. We really don't know, but I don't think balls had anything to do with it.
