after this season. If you were AD who would you choose? Here are a few names that I think would realistically entertain our offer.
PJ Fleck- Minn. (my choice last Dec)
Sonny Dykes- SMU
Mike Novell- Memphis
Matt Rhule- Baylor
Mike Leach- Wash. St.
Matt Campbell- ISU
Luke Fickell- Cincinnati

Fleck for coach. How he has Minnesota undefeated when nobody wants to play there let alone live. How did Prince and Kirby Puckett end up there?
 
Stop. You can forget fantasizing about coaches until the entire athletic department has been issued a bus ticket to the unemployment office.

If we think our past coaches have hard times finding jobs, raise your hand if you think any of these turds would be able to find work at another D1 P5 University at the same level position they are at now within 5 years...

Build a legitimate athletic department first, then we can worry about coaching. Until then, all you're doing is...

Would try for Campbell, but doubt he'd leave for here. Top of my reasonable list would be Fickell, Candle, Norvell and Babers. Zero chance they even look at Leach so not even contemplating that.

Would honestly be willing to get weird and go triple with Monken because that's where I'm at now. I just want to get to a consistent 8-9 win team.

Craig Bohl from Wyoming. What he built at NDSU, and what he's doing at Wyoming, is impressive. He's a bit older, but he'd get us playing tougher football. Yeah, I know he's not going undefeated every year, but ****, he's at WYOMING! Dude is a great coach.

He seemed so Al Golden to me when He speaks. Risky hire man

We need someone that knows talent wins games. If he cant get kids to go to minnesota like herman got oliver to houston i dont want him. I want a guy who can convince a kid to choose miami over bama on a regular basis. A guy that closes and cheats

I think fleck took over wmu, won one game, then pulled their best class in history that offseason. Then followed that by out recruiting everyone in that conference every year during his tenure. Guy recruits and then wins.
