Fans should be ashamed....

He didn't do anything illegal or crazy. He posted a picture with money and showed the world he get *****. Stop acting like he was out stealing purses.

He is so far past that and has been for months now.

Wow, he's managed not to be a moron for a couple of months, everyone rejoice. You are a scholarship QB at a Power 5 school. Here's an idea: HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE. Guess what Bo Nix and all these other freshman QBs aren't doing? Trying out for BangBros on social media. Perry did things that could potentially put the program at risk, and then did other things that could have caused situations in the locker room. Never mind the fact that he was flat out uncoachable for a lot of his career. There's a reason why Richt consistently had to needle him in the media. You think Richt WANTED to play Rosier? No, he did everything possible to hand Perry the job, and Kosi kept failing.

We can all hope the light came on, but I'm not mortgaging the program's future on this guy. If Diaz was anywhere near competent, he'd be out looking to sign two QBs this cycle, and make it known that Tate is gone after this year, and whomever wants to join him can. Time to flush out that QB room.

Yeah. You could hear the boos so loud the announcers mentioned it as well. Didnt have to be there.

And yeah, you're the exact type of fan I'm talking about. The ****** type

So you weren't there and your basing it off the TV? There was no booing ****stain.

As for type of fan I am, I graduated from UM, have had season tickets for 20+ years, donated to the practice facility, go to every game, and go to at least one away game every year. Oh and I've been to 5 national championship games.

WTF qualifies you to be a fan other than you have a 27" black and white TV?

Jarren stunk it up 2 weeks in a row. He had 2 balls in the 1st quarter last week that were thrown to defenders. Perry looked much better than Williams has all year. Teams are supposed to be a meritocracy .Claiming Williams is the future before a body of work shows he is bad coaching.
A blind Man can see it .

Williams versus Perry is not the problem.

It is the OC and OL, but the deflection on the QB makes much more sense.

Not sure WTF you are talking about. Were you at the game? I didn't hear anybody boo N'Kosi coming into the game.

He played decent but lets not not pretend he's the second coming of Tom Brady. He looked better than last year but still holds the ball too long, missed wide open guys, and throws into traffic.

When the QB change was made, there were clearly boos coming from the crowd.

I think the boos were not directed that the QB, but just in general at the whole offense play at that point. I am pretty sure Enos was the target. Manny too.
****, at that point, Sebastian was getting booed.

Pretty sure you’re right. The dumb fcks in the stands were loudly booing Jarren and probably didn’t even realize there was a new QB in the game.

I was at the game he didn’t get booed. Actually the crowd rooted for him. The crowd booed Diaz, Enos, Baker, and Bubba Baxa. Kosi can’t do right to some fans but that’s ok. He showed up when we needed him the most.

Boos could be because they didn't like Jarren being yanked. Or for the whole team's sad performance. Its far from clear Perry was being booed despite all that's been said or reported.

Its also your opinion that Perry is the best of 3. Coaches think one thing then change and they sorta are half the problem anyway. I tend to think better reads and field presence would help and favor giving Tate a chance, but like the others, he is certainly flawed as well. Let the Flawed Gates open, this team just has hUge problems wish it weren't so.

That's clearly where my energy is directed.

If it don't apply. Let it fly...
Then you need not worry, as they are not cane fans anyhow. Believe me, they turn up every year when our record starts going south. The love to pile on as their spineless, wormy lives are mostly under a rock.

You’re right. I’m not reading all the threads. And most of the people posting on here these days eat their own boogers, so I don’t pay attention to 95% of the garbage I do read on here.

Nobody booed Perry when he entered the game. That is preposterous. The crowd was restless and stunned at that point. I don't think 90% of the crowd even noticed that we had changed quarterbacks.

There would have been relentless booing if the Hail Mary at the end of the first half hadn't worked. The entire team would have been serenaded.

I haven't seen it mentioned here how much Justin Fuente contributed to allowing Miami to get back into the game. Virginia Tech led 28-0 and had the ball in its own end with just over a minute remaining. It was second down and the clock running. Miami had zero energy but two time outs. Virginia Tech was going to get the ball first in the second half. I said to the guy next to me that Miami needed a break and Justin Fuente might provide it. He's an offensive guy. An offensive guy might get overconfident and try to do something here, instead of recognizing the massive situational edge of simply getting to the half with a 28-0 lead and with the home crowd dismayed and ready to turn its anger on the listless home favorite.

Sure enough, Fuente tried a cute play fake on second down. It was supposed to be a deep ball but was covered and the Canes got a sack. That was just the break the Canes desperately needed. Diaz recognized the sudden shift and raced toward the official to call time out. If Virginia Tech had merely run a normal play and gained a few years, Diaz was not going to call time out. He feared the Hokies scoring again. The half would have ended tamely.

There was such a vast difference between 28-0 and 28-7 at halftime. This was not a pick-em game. Since the Canes were 14 point favorite beforehand, I'm sure the second half line was Miami -10, or something like that. It is always adjusted upwards when a heavy favorite plays an awful first half. So the projection at halftime was Virginia Tech to win by 11 or thereabouts. That is not much of anything in college football, with all the possessions and stoppages of the clock. It may look like 28-7 but in real world mode this is still a very competitive game, given the logical path of the second half.

Even though Virginia Tech won that game I walked out of the stadium believing Fuente was an even bigger fool than I realized, given that decision late in the first half and somehow not recognizing at the end of the game that all he needed to do was run the clock down and kick a game ending chippie field goal to walk out of there a 38-35 victor.

From what I could gather they were booing the VT kickoff unit who were hamming it up with Miami fans after each kickoff.

Have no problem with Perry starting against UVA.

Problem is if he throws 2-3 picks, then what? Back to Jarren to save us? Tate?
