Anyone who remembers 2002 wants this game BAD. And justifiably so.
With that said, 95% of UM’s players weren't even alive when that game happened. That bull**** outcome won’t be what fuels these guys. But do you know what will?
Being told they have no shot to win by many in the CFB media.
This is the perfect spot for us to be in. We play way better as underdogs than favorites. Even though we won, Mario has plenty of ammunition he can use by saying, “look at all these points we left on the board — the offense wasn’t good enough.”
Nevermind the fact that Ohio State’s players probably watched that game and don’t think too highly of us.
This is setting up to be the reverse of 2002. I know we will be ready to go. I believe in this team. They are hungry. If a couple of things go our way, we can absolutely win this game. Cut it loose!
