The headline made it seem like football was over, or at least that was my initial interpretation.

I haven’t heard the lyrics, but this is going to blow over. A couple of players may get suspended for a game, maybe something like that.

The administration has to be seen as doing their due diligence. In the end, that’s all this is about.

That's what I thought when I read the headline as well.

As an aside - pretty much unrelated - I remember when news of scandal in 2011 broke. I was on vacation with my family and I was reading people talking about Miami getting the death penalty. I told this to my wife (also a UM alumni) and my young son asked me, "They're going to kill the players?!"

Kids are so dumb. Coach needs to re-up the “you don’t own ****, this isn’t your program. Your only job is to not embarrass it. It was here before you and it’ll be here after you,” speech.

Also if you were gonna pull something like this, at least have some self respect and do it for somebody worth it. Not whoever this clown is.
