This guy scaife has the best PR in nation.. He is avg at best, esp at tackle.. He got King killed and benched immediatly.. Like I said, practice scaife til lights come on for gameday..

They tried to move him back to tackle last year and immediately got benched.. Williams held the position rest of season, he is ok at guard but at T, I dont see it after what 4/5 years? I played for mirabal, so if he and cristobal say its a go, im with it.. But I wont be surprised by first real game texas a and M changes are made 🤷‍♀️
Really hope Zion gets back sooner than later and is better than ever. Get healthy young man.

Agree, Scaife at T is a liability against the better DLs we’ll face (Clemson, A&M, maybe Pitt too). Hopefully Zion heals up and Scaife cements at guard.

Love what we’ve done on both LOSs, but we will have this issue depth-wise on both sides of the ball with guys whose body types don’t match the positions they could be potentially playing. Too many guard/center bodies on OL and tweener types on DL (obvious exception of Jackson).

Against most of the comp we’ll play we should be fine, it’s just a couple games where it could really matter.

Scaife had the teams best pass blocking grade per PPF last year. Even better than Zion. He’s just a liability in the run game. Ideally he should be a reserve swing tackle but he’s serviceable at RT. He was absolute trash at guard. He gets overpowered too easily and is more of a finesse pass blocker.

Do they not get tired of asking these players about Ed Reed coaching them??! Sheesh.
“So you came from _____, how’s it like in Miami? What’s different? Is this place better?”

”Jason Taylor, huh? Can you talk about him for a second?”

”Tell us about [highly ranked freshman in your position group], how’s he look? What do you tell a guy like that [who’s coming for your job]?”

”Whats the difference between practice this year vs last year? Ok, how about between spring and now? Great, hey how about from practice 1 to practice 2, ok, and from 2 to 3? What are your hopes for #4?”

”Gotta be cool to have Ed Reed on the sidelines? What’s that like?”

”Is practice fast?”

We will see the best O linemen on game day. Trust the staff.

Zion is projected to go in the first round next year, & Mirabal/Mario have said they love what they see from Scaife, who will benefit from better coaching. I don't think the cupboard is as bare as you might think.
Exactly, Zion is one of the best LT's in the country, and Rivers can play the rt or either guard position. Not worried about our starting 5 at all...solid.

lol Zion going in the 1st round will depend 100% on how he looks this year

Can’t wait til Citizen is 1st of the depth chart, Gator fans starting yapping that they were right, Mario promised him the starting job only for them to realize real quick they should have done the same…
Is it true though? I know Citizen is a special RB but promising the starting job to anyone seems to contradict what Mario is breaching.
