I actually disagree slightly about OL. I think it’s there now. If someone slips up or gets injured I’m not sure Ervin or congdon will give the spot up

And DT/DE we need more there now that Lowe is gone and Scott may go to the league early

This is a very good point. Not often brought up here. We’ve had such a void of talent here for decades so the players who knew they were so much better didn’t have any pressure or any push to rejoin the team or push through. Now? Good luck.

I mentioned it before but next year offensive rster is even more impressive than this season nt including portal.. Literally plug and play for a QB to come in and thrive.. I dont see how they burn season with inexperienced QB.. Too much money and opportunity, idk.

Yeah, Mensah comes back next year. That's potential preseason #1 stuff with the returning players

We’re 3 days in to fall camp with media getting eyes on these guys and not one mention of him….. experience as a fan grasping to every media report of fall camp for decades tells me he is a non factor this year. I did not have that on my bingo card when we landed him in portal

It's not a big deal we didn't hear about max Buchanan last year then all of a sudden he shows up as a starting guard in spring camp.

I would be a litte nervous if we had 2 TF (Cantwell is the other) on the starting OL in a season where the ACC title and CFP berth is the floor. But I get your point. I am definitely excited for the potential especially seeing that Wilkerson and Campbell are turning heads now. Totally forgot about Minaya who was the darling of the OL last offseason. So alot to look forward to.

I think Mario needs another recruiting cycle to get the DE room there and another 2 cycles to get the DT room there. But that is me being extremely pesstimistic. lol. This is all great dialogue. There was a time not long ago that these types of discussions would get you laughed off the board.

These days it's hard to predict rosters 2-3 years in the future.

Im sure that's sarcasm! But, if there is no QB behind him then its a specific drill not needing a QB! Please tell me that was sarcasm on your part?

Simply not accurate. Buchanan was a true freshman for one so different circumstances entirely but two he was getting great reviews from the moment he stepped on campus

I had that game on during a wedding. Was already going into the dog house for watching it at the table. Add on top the actual result. Terrible day
