He can't even punt the ball without needing to go to the tent.Hedley
I see you Blades! Yall doubting that young guy. I love the competition!QB play:
Overall, this was probably the best day the QBs have had. Both N’Kosi Perry and Jarren Williams were consistently accurate and did not turn the ball over. They were also very sharp on their deep balls.
Tate Martell did not play poorly, but he did not play as well as Perry or Williams. Martell did have some nice deep balls and was more accurate than the other days on the short crossing routes. Where Martell did run into trouble was on the intermediate crossing routes. On two different occasions, Martell did not lead the receiver well enough, and Derrick Smith got his hands on the pass. Smith caught one and dropped one.
Other Notes:
Jeremiah Payton has impressed me every time I’ve seen him play. Payton has good hands and moves faster than his testing numbers suggest. Payton also has shown that he is a capable blocker.
Brevin Jordan looked to be limited in practice yesterday, but he participated in every drill conducted during the media portion of today’s practice. He did, however, run with the second-team offense.
Jeff Thomas did not participate in practice. Neither did Louis Hedley or Nesta Silvera.
The tight ends were a big part of the offense today. All four were being used to attack the middle of the field, and all looked good at running their routes.
Brian Hightower and Nigel Bethel both reached 20 MPH.
Big Cane Drill:
Jonathan Garvin beat Zion Nelson.
Navaughn Donaldson beat Jordan Miller.
Michael Pinkney and Cam’ron Harris went twice, and both ended in a stalemate.
Mark Pope beat Al Blades.
Keontra Smith DESTROYED Marshall Few twice.
Some 1v1 results:
KJ Osborn beat Trajan Bandy.
Derrick Smith beat Mike Harley.
Al Blades beat Mark Pope.
Dee Wiggins beat DJ Ivey.
Marshall Few beat Christian Williams.
Brian Hightower beat Nigel Bethel.
Jeremiah Payton beat Christian Williams.
KJ Osborn beat Robert Knowles.
Mike Harley beat Te’Cory Couch.
Evidence Njoku beat DJ Ivey.
Derrick Smith beat Marshall Few.
Naw go walk off a cliff you're in South Carolina.. Shouldn't be a bad fallI need someone to update me on Hedley so I don't walk off the cliff.
Jarren Williams has been the most consistent QB it seems so far going back to the spring. He seems to have few bad days unlike Perry and Martell. I just hope the staff understands we don't need a "wow" QB when we can play defense, just a consistent one who can raise their level of play the few times our defense has a bad game.
****, Zion has JAG written all over him.

DB Derrick Smith continues to flash during practice. During the one-on-one portion of practice that the media can view, Smith made an impressive pass break-up when covering slot receiver Mike Harley on a quick slant. Later during the one-on-one session, Smith undercut a crossing route by slot receiver Marshall Few. Both passes were thrown by Tate Martell. Smith had three turnovers during Tuesday's practice.
Striker Romeo Finley on what Smith has shown this spring: "To me he is the most improved so far. He keeps telling me he is going to get that safety spot and I just tell him to keep working."
Michael Pinkney and Cam’ron Harris went twice, and both ended in a stalemate.

^^^^^ My biggest takeaway. ^^^^^
Deejay best keep his *** in gear, cause he's about thisclose to getting Wally Pipped.
Pinck, how the **** you gonna let yourself get stalemated by a guy 3+ inches shorter and what, 30 lbs lighter?
That Cam'Ron kid is fixin to show some people what's up.
Hurricanesports updated roster has Pinckney 6’1 230, cam Harris 5’10 205Just checked the CIS roster and was surprised to find Pinckney is only listed at 6'even and 215. Cam'Ron is 5'10" 193. Still a bit of a weight and height gap, but not as much as I thought. Pinck is also 2 years older, though.

I think everyone needs to know what a "hot take" is. it doesn't have to be an unlikely scenario or judgment. a hot take is just a quick thought that extremely projects on something. you aren't necessarily wrong with what you said, but everyone seems to think its got to be something insane to be a "hot take"Hot take: Tate Martell gets moved to H-Back but will have a special Wildcat package designed for him.
You kid but I think that's what's going to happen if he doesn't win the comp. If he's half as good a runner as many make him out to be he'll be useful in a designed package. Like what Mullen does with Emory Jones.Hot take: Tate Martell gets moved to H-Back but will have a special Wildcat package designed for him.
