Fall Practice #4; August 8th ‘26

I’m with you but. I think this team is on a mission. My biggest worry was replacing leadership from Bain, Messidor, Daniels and Scott. It’s in the water now, it is Miami football.

I’m not saying we will go undefeated or we won’t have bad moments that make us say wtf. But I do think this team will be as competitive as any come November - January.

The oline is loaded with creatures. But they are young and inexperienced.

Makes me worry about October 3rd. But I think it’s going to be a strength come year end, just so much talent.

TLDR: patience with OL. stay generally healthy obviously at QB and the sky is the limit.

We need to finally avoid those WTF moments,that's where we lose a game or 2 that again keeps us from winning acc.We need to dominate everyone,the talent and coaching is there.

If our QB doesn't throw the ball to the other team and each man knows his assignment :cautious: we should do well. Getting Mensah and another year of development in the system bodes well for this year's team.

Didn't impact Saban-led Bama. Or Ohio state through Tressel or Meyer or now Day.

For 20 years most of us were in roster construction denial. We are now loaded everywhere and the incoming freshman class is loaded and balanced. We've learned how to win games that matter. That was a huge leap. Stay healthy and we are one of maybe four teams who can run the table

i personally don't think we're at any of those levels, yet ... we've really only won anything of substance last season (cotton and fiesta bowls) ... we're definitely moving in the right direction though

Nobody in the nation has a perfect roster. We are a top 4 team. Don't kid yourself. The A&M win was huge in a playoff game. I was there. It was a hostile atmosphere. All 3 post season wins we either scored very late and/or we made a key stop on the last series. The 20 plus prior seasons what Miami did that? We also beat more top 10 teams than anybody last year. Yes we have to win in Las Vegas. We stay healthy and we have the roster to do so. Culture of accountability is already set.
