This is one of the kids I was interested in seeing. Needs to get a bit more weight to take the velo up a tick. But the clips I saw his CB had plus stuff. Has that wiry loose arm that has big upside but it may take a year. Could def be a situational guy this year if he is progressing from HS to college quick enough.

I’m looking forward to hearing about Derias and Ciscar. Derias to put it all together and Ciscar to not regress.

he struck out the meat of our order. Odgen, Cuvet and one more player. His control needs a lot of work, all the freshman today besides Peralta need to fix their control. They all flashed potential

The size difference is staggering.

There is also a big size difference between the 2024 freshman class and the 2025 freshman class.
 
QUICK NOTES FROM SCRIMMAGE:

- As @ErickMarreroU points out, this team looks much more impressive physically than last year. This is not only because of the influx of transfers and freshman, but returners have taken a step forward with their body (Ex- Fabio Peralta)

- All freshman pitching today, the lefties LJ Drummond and Jack Durso performed the best.

- RHP Erick Peralta has all the juice in the world, just gotta find a way to command it. High ceiling player.

- Depth across the board has improved, going to be alot of debates on who plays where.

- Sosa impressed me with his swing decisions, rewarded for his quality AB with a ripped RBI single

- Freshman INF Gabriel Milano will be knocking at the door for a spot. I don't know where yet, but looks mature offensively.
