Miami doesn't do well in cold games. Or do people say it because it sounds good, being that we're in Miami.

We're better when we don't have our RB's throwing 40yd passes in snowstorms. It's science.

I think people get the Dolphins confused with the Hurricanes. For years the Dolphins were a fairly good early season team, but then would lose on the road to the Patriots, Bills, Jets, etc, if they played them after October on the road.

Exactly. When we are good, we make teams quit, especially when the weather is bad. Nothing like getting your butt kicked on the field in bad weather to bring out the quit in teams.

God damn James Coley, he called like 4 half back passes and 5 other trick plays in the snow.

We suck in snow and cold when we suck at football

We killed Cincy in snow in 1987. Had 3 RBs over 100 yards in the same game. Snow was piled up on the sidelines. We beat BC in 1991 in sleet (though we won the natty that year, they were 4-7 and we only won 19-14). It was absolutely freezing when we beat Texas in the Cotton Bowl after the 1990 season. Would have won by more than 46-3 if we didn't have 202 penalty yards. Might have been snow flurries, but if not, well below freezing. We beat Pitt in '86 or '89 in a freezing rain. I know it was around or below freezing when we beat Pitt in 2003 to win the Big East.
