do you realize how shallow you sound?? no self respecting individual has to sacrifice his or her core beliefs or sellout for money, theres a thousand other ways he could of addressed that and kept his job in good standing,

Just because they pay his salary doesn't mean he ever has to say one negative thing about Miami. But he did.

And he's wrong, the Miami Hurricanes are a much bigger brand and more widely recognizable than florida.
 
Shannon could have stopped after praising Florida's brand. Instead he had to go out of his way to **** on his alma mater. Good going radio

Perfect newspaper to spew that garbage to as well, and he knows it. Too bad the Turds at the Herald wouldn't follow up the quote with a question like ..."well, why won't that big bad brand play UM any longer?"
