2027 Ezekiel Ayangbile, DT

In 27 at DT we return Davis,Carter,Newton,Stancil,Nagle,Bacon,Sainteus and Chukwurah.That's 8 DTs,we're deep here what we need is another Justin Scott type.We seem to have J.Thompson in the bag already,don't see why we need to bring in more guys at the same talent level of the 8 or 9 DTs we're returning in 27.

They been recruiting this kid for awhile . Miami staff made him a prioty . This has nothing to with the Chicago DT . This is why you land a few because I’ll take what I can get now because nothing is promise tomorrow in recruiting . Now grab your sack

How do you know Scott doesn’t come back ?

This is the portal era.
One never knows who is coming or going these days.
To assume any roster this far (2027) ahead is crazy.
Look at the Simpson kid who flaked out and transferred.
Regardless, one never has too many quality big guys who can play on the trenches.
It's like the saying in baseball about one never having too many pitchers.

I think you're kinda trippin, legit not a single name you mentioned has proven jack **** yet lmao. Yes we really need a top DT recruit. But just cause we have 7/8 projected guys returning doesn't matter much. Especially in this transfer portal world. We signed 5 DTs last class and brought in 2 transfers. In 2 years the 2 portal guys are guaranteed gone due to eligibility, and out of the currently unproven 6 on the roster, I think 2 min likely transfer out by then. DTs are unlikely to contribute year 1. So what we recruit out of HS at DT should be with an eye towards 28+29 season.

We need another 3 DTs out of HS minimum. If one of them is a 5star type, we still need another 2, maybe even 3 more developmental types. But if you look at the top 3-5 rated DTs we are recruiting Its Brewster, Fakatou, Folorunsho, Shumaker, Toia, Muhammad, then Ayangbile.... Brewster is committed to TTU. Has an OV set for us 5/29 at least (also has OVs to IU, SMU, and TTU scheduled, and I assume UF will get one too). So seems unlikely. Fakatou, Shumaker, and Toia seems to have shown Zero interest in us. Folorunsho is a competition with ND, but has 4 OVs scheduled - Purdue, Missouri, ND, IU.... And seems unlikely we win, but we're in it.

I think the ones we have the most traction with are Xavier Muhammad, Ezekiel Ayangbile, Josh Johnson, and Jamar Thompson. And if we got those 4, That would be a great class. And actually a higher rated one than last year I think....

quite frankly if some of these guys come off the board i hold....an play the transfer portal for a dt. I would pay for Folorunsho and Fakatou though but we'll see soon if we can land any of the big nams.
