Visits Extended FSU Weekend Visitors October 18, 2026

[lindend]

Multiple priority recruits are spending an extra day in the Gables after last night's double OT thriller. How many of these recruits will end end up committing? In 2024, Camdin Portis committed during his extended Sunday visit. For sure, we've got a better idea of which 28 recruits the staff is prioritizing.

Added multiple recruits from the OP the Key 2028 Recruits list

2028 Thread 'Key Recruit Official Visit & Commitment Dates [2028 Football version]'

Sep 2, 2025

Kicking off a Key Recruit Thread for 28 recruits. Yea, its ultra early, but some monsters are already emerging and the crystal balls/RPMs are starting to get released. List will build as priorities become clearer.

Note: I am NOT tracking every recruit with an offer. Just the serious candidates that the staff appears to be prioritizing.

2029 Post in thread 'James Allen 4* CB from Tampa (Carrollwood Day)'

Top 2029 CB James Allen is here too and said Miami will be a contender throughout in his recruitment. This was his first extended look at the program and loved what he saw on campus and at Hard Rock Stadium. Ohio State, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Auburn, and Texas A&M. Really impressive, long frame. https://247sports.com/player/james-allen-46158808/

Got his first extended look at Miami and said it moved the needle as far as feeling at home in Coral Gables. The Canes made a move with the Top 50 national prospect. https://247sports.com/player/derrell-hines-jr-46158469/

2028 Post in thread 'Acely Brown 4* RB from Petal, MS (Petal HS)'

Acely Brown is a top running back target and has a lot of top programs after him. He will be at Texas next weekend. Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Miss State, and others in the thick of it. Loves Favian Upshaw, who watched him play during the bye week. Miami is in a good spot early. https://247sports.com/player/acely-brown-46152756/

2028 Post in thread 'Xevien Brinson 4* TE from Stone Mountain, GA (Stephenson HS)'

Told me he may cancel a South Carolina visit to return again next weekend. He loves Miami. LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, and others, but Miami really likes him and seems to have made a strong move this weekend. Great looking TE prospect. https://247sports.com/player/xevien-brinson-46153263/
