Expect another offensive struggle vs Pitt

You sure? Then why continue to throw the deep ball to the worst set of WR in the power 5?

I saw Lashlee trying to take what the defense was giving him. It's on the WR to make those plays.

A lot of people said it before the game - the WR were going to be on an island, and they were going to have to step up. That's exactly what happened, and they failed to step up. That's the cold, hard truth.

I believe they weren't able to rise to the moment because they're just not talented enough. Again, the cold hard truth.

I think we'll handle pitt. Won't be a blowout, but will not be surprised if we cover the spread.

Clemson had a great game plan against our O and they executed it to perfection. Credit to Venables for doing that. While Pitt has a very good defense they don't have Clemson talent to do what Clemson did. We just have to shake off the loss and play Canes football and we will be okay. I am more concerned about the lack of time of possession in this game. The lbs need to play better for us to get the W.

Although Pitt doesn’t have the talent Clemson has, they play a very aggressive, in your face style of D. Blueprint is out now, make King beat you outside the numbers, hard to do with the current group of WR.

I expect Miami to win, but not an explosive offensive showing. 27-20 type game
If they trot Pope, Harley, and Wiggins out there at the start of the game I might turn the TV off.

The best indicator of present and future performance is past performance. We have a history of rolling over and spreading our legs ready to receive after a blowout loss on national TV. Lashleee showed me he's a serviceable OC, but not an elite coach. Dude lost millions of dollars last night as he would've been a hot commodity had he manufactured a decent showing against Clemson. Sure none of the other teams we face are Clemson but the other teams will know how to neuter him. Baker is Baker and will play the less talented but more experienced players like Jennings, McCloud and Carter. I feel every game from now on will be close. And close means we could very realisticly lose them.

Or we could win.

Pitt has some solid coaches and that team always fields a competent defense.
