Everyone...settle the F down!!

This post is trash af

Most of us have been fans since the 80-90's and know what Hurricane football is all about, what it looks like and what it should be.

Go away[/

If you know all of that, than you should know we in the rebuilding phase, did we have a top notch defense before coach richt got here, you are showing signs of the microwave society!

Ok now let's consider this... if we run through our remaining schedule BC, Duke, GT, VT and Pitt undefeated... I'll gladly eat a heaping plate of crow.

None of that would be enough. Those are all games we should be expecting to win in year 3. ****ting the bed against Virginia and not even being competitive against LSU in year 3 are just unforgiveable. There would have been no shame in losing a close, competitive game to LSU in an opener when you're well prepared and playing at a functional level...but that's not what we saw.

Make it to the ACCCG and beat Clemson and I'll eat that crow with a fork and knife.

You have to account for injuries, but let's be real, we lost to pitt, clemson, lsu and UVA. I'm intentionally not counting the wisconsin game for obvious reasons, but the only team we got beatdown by was clemson and going into that game with less weapons. All these teams we lost to is simply because of not having quality an experienced depth that cant be manufactered over night, all these teams are physical teams, next up is B.C. another physical team, our offense has been getting manhandled from a physical standpoint all year, it didnt just start, the Savannah St. Game should tell yall everything you need to know if you watched it. We are just a few solid o-linemen away from being explosive on offense, the future is bright. Now if coach richt had been here as long as oscar creyer has been at ohigho fake and lost to UVA, than that would be concerning, but dont sleep, they got athlete's in Virginia now, when you got lawrence taylor, bruce smith, charles haley and Michael vick as the headliner's for your state in football, its not we lost to scrubs, when we are not playing at a certain level as a team, these are the type of losses we will have.
LOL.... so Pitt, Wisconsin and Virginia has more talent and depth than Miami. Ok, Don Bailey Jr.

I think that going 10-2 this season is unlikely with the offense and coaching we got... and just making it to the ACCCG is an accomplishment... but beating Clemson isn't going to happen this year... it is what it is.

No **** it ain't going to happen, but if we're talking about what it's going to take to exhibit signs we're actually going in the right direction at season's end....refer to my previous post.

ok but What exactly makes you think he knows what hes doing though ? Have you seen his last 7 years at georgia ? Finished unranked 4 times in those 7 years. Our offense has gotten worse every year hes been here. Our playbook and playcalling is kaka. I dont get how you think its going to get better moving forward other than blind faith

Ask yourself this, who hired the defensive staff, who replaced coach kool with a better d-line coach in coach simpson, who hired coach patke. Who hired coach dugans, hartley and brown, the jury is still out on coach searels. But this offense has regressed since brad kaaya left, and several injuries every year since, last year it was walton, Ahmon, herndon, this year its Ahmon, irvin, polendey, the latter 2 would have helped our running game. If you guys cant see why we having alot of inconsistencies on offense, nobody'y blocking good or consistently except gauthier, harley jt4 and wigggins. The young tight-ends are getting tossed around as expected, Jahir jones and skates mahoney should never be starters, but right now, nobody else has been ready. The young guns are putting in work to get ready tho. Who in their right mind think we're going to push B.C. defense around come friday, its not that much coaching in the world.

I read your post... what I'm talking about is reaching realistic goals.. that's all. The day will come when we can feel confident to beat a powerhouse team. We're not there yet. Vegas doesn't think so either.

We're struggling with teams with drastically inferior talent (UVA and Pitt). Are you saying we don't have a good enough QB or O-Line to beat them as well?

Something tells me if we made some obvious changes, things would look a little different.
Pitt best Clemson.

Inferior talent or not

You are saying "more talent" but more seasoned depth in the trenches, those teams do, all 3 of those teams play in cold weather so automatically they are recruiting to play a more physical brand off football. Have you looked at our trench personnel offensively, True freshmen tight-ends trying to block 3rd and 4th yr d-ends. Some of you just need to be real and enjoy the progress back to the top!

The uptight win now crowd.........know this......but do NOT want to believe it.....they demand wins over inferior opponents....

After the FSU win, and( with injuries and depth with experience a reality,)..... a Loss at UVa. did hurt.....but none in the win now crowd wants to acknowledge that the OL was an ISSUE starting out in Spring Camp and ongoing.....
We hoped it got better, but it did not....QB was an issue from Spring also, and it is with this knowledge the season started............surprise???....NO......
We were anticipating a good win vs. LSU, and in the ACC yes....but we need to deal with, and handle where we are and now.
The Canes would confirm that every player wants to win a **** of a lot more than you.....a fan.
We are JAF's.................Just A Fan......remember that.

And what you're indirectly referring to is winning the ****** *** Coastal.

Sorry, but that "attainable goal" isn't anything that's going to make me feel warm and fuzzy.

And why you laughing and thinking you know football, why did it take this play to put this game away, with no need to call the roll for this roster:

Richt is 0-9 on top recruits from South Florida lol

Not sure why I keep seeing this but this 0-9 info isn't accurate.

Broward is the problem.

Joe Jackson (Top 3 Dade)
Ahmmon Richards (best Palm Beach)

Navaughn Donaldson (best Dade)
Jon Garvin (best Palm Beach)

Mark Pope (Top 5 Dade)
Gurvin Hall (best Palm Beach)

Games are won and lost in the trenches. I think we have some good young pups who are working to be able to start next year. I believe Richt has done very well in recruiting skilled athletes but we need to pick it up regarding big uglies on both sides of the ball. The sky is not falling and no matter what happens this year, I do believe we are setting up nicely for the next couple of years to come. We just need to really concentrate on getting better in the trenches and that starts with getting Evan Neal to commit to us. He is very important to this class.

The last sentence has been said every year for the last 16 years

Of course we all want to be dominant. I just want to know what team outside of Bama is doing that right now ? It’s like yal don’t even watch college football man .

Every week there are 4-5 upsets it seems and top teams in dog fights with teams they’re supposed to be blowing out. Anyone that bets on college football knows this . And these are teams with actual O lines and QBs . Dwayne Haskins is a dog and Ohio state still lost by 30 to mighty Purdue . Trace McSorley an Penn State barely beat Indiana. Georgia looked bad against LSU, **** near worse than us . And these are with top QBs and solid lines . Folks on here scared of VT and they lost to fvckin Old Dominion . The list goes on. Even Bama with all that talent didn’t really blow teams out like this until they got Tua

Why yal are expecting us to dominate every team with a trash o line and no QB is beyond me .

This man understands football and is realistic, great to know you are in the fold.

lol @ any mention of beating Clemson. Lets see if we can score >16 points on Friday against BC. I wouldn't bet on it with the musical quarterbacks we're playing. Oh, and this is the week that we get a punt blocked. I can feel it.
